  • The episode titles always include a joke or two. Generally, as many as Tulok can fit.
    • The one for Gandalf says, "Just a Wizard", and shows a clip from Fellowship of the Ring where Gandalf and Frodo are laughing. This is after Tulok says that Gandalf is the archetypal wizard from Fantasy Literature and so will definitely have the wizard class. He's a bard/paladin.
    • The one for Dr. Facilier is pun between Facilier's "Friends on the Other Side" Villain Song and the "Friends" sitcom.
    • The one for Geralt has Jaster singing "Toss a Coin to your Witcher" with the title "Give Me Your Money", and includes a Patreon Link message and arrow.
    • The song for Green Lantern kept getting copyright claimed by Lorde, so Tulok uploaded a version where the "song" is himself saying, "Green Light, Green Light by Lorde" a couple times.
  • The Mad Libs Catchphrase of "like and subscribe for (something related to the character)" the next time you play....maybe. " is regularly funny. Here is a sample:
    • Alladin's is "a whole new world".
    • Tifa's is "a more emotionally available paramour".
    • Facilier's is "better friends".
    • Green Lantern's is "grass is greener".
    • Groot's is "So everyone can understand you".
    • Ichigo Kurosaki's is "a bigger sword".
  • The True Strike joke. He knows it is a generally awful cantrip, but includes it in builds anyway to bait gatekeepers, or make a non-sequitur segue.
  • The build for Gilgamesh includes many jokes about the King of Heroes's enormous ego, such as how Healing Hands enables him to distribute a pool of HP "to characters named Gilgamesh, or maybe Enkidu."
  • The build for Groot gets a lot of mileage out of the character's Pokémon Speak.
    • Mad Libs Catchphrase
    • Tulok's advice for roleplaying a character like this? A clip of dancing baby Groot and "DONT!"
    • Listing all three goals for the build as "I am Groot" and then showing a footnote that says "No, I'm not doing this the whole time, but I had you going for a second".
  • Ichigo Kurosaki's build has Tulok flip-flop between considering hollows to be "undead" or "fiends" because the build includes abilities for both. He says this is because he wants to be "on brand" for Bleach, because it randomly changes its own lore.
  • Iskander (Fate Zero's Rider) is known for being able to summon an army of everyone he's ever conquered.
    • Tulok starts the build by saying it should pretty straightforward and then stage-whispers how it will be impossible and regretting how he made it an option on the poll.
    • He lists all the spells that Iskander might know and then remarks something along the lines of "or you could get more soldiers."
    • Why should you get Shield of Faith? To protect his squishy summoner. "His last name is 'Velvet', that's how soft he is."
  • When justifying Captain Marvel's use of Heroic Second Wind, he says, "You can't be a captain in the Avengers unless you can do this all day."
  • For Katara the water bender's build, he says "take a sip every time I say 'water' to get super hydrated".
