• Hitchcock's cameo, right next to Grant on the bus, completely ignoring him.
• When John hides on Danielle's boat, a plane passes by over them:
  John: Well, wave to him.
  Danielle: Suppose he's not my type.
  John: Wave anyway, as if you're a pretty girl out for a ride.
  Danielle: Well... [lifts her skirt a bit to show her legs]
  John: Not that pretty! We want to get rid of him.
• Jessie Stevens, gotta love that lady. It was very impressive that she was able to keep a cool head when Francie called the police. It's just a shame... she didn't pay attention to the book she'd picked up.
  Francie: Mother, you're holding that book upside-down!
• While trying to outrun the police, Francie and John nearly run into a chicken. Thankfully they manage to get by the bird with little difficulty. Moments later their pursuers run across the same bird, and trash their car avoiding it. One of the cops even takes a moment to scold the bird!
  Policeman: [on the radio] We are poulet!^note Which is both the French word for "chicken" and a slang term for "police".
• The firework cuts when John and Francie make out.
