• Nadia is woken up by the ringing of Pym's phone. Unable to find it in time, she hears a lengthy voice mailbox message including a preemptive redirection to the Avengers if there's some world-ending emergency, a preemptive apology to Janet, a preemptive refusal of whatever Scott Lang wants as he already owes Hank something like $50,000, and Hank accidentally setting the carpet on fire. Again.
  • When Jarvis explains that the phone is a landline, Nadia questions why anyone would want a phone with a cord that stopped them from taking it everywhere with them. We don't hear Jarvis' reaction, but Nadia clues us in:
  Nadia: What do you mean you're "too old to live"?
• Jarvis accidentally starting a fire with Nadia's taser/phone charger combo device.
• People mistaking Jarvis for Nadia's grandpa, and on one occasion her manservant. When Jarvis says he prefers the term "chaperone," the girl in question mutters that white people have a lot of names for people who follow you around.
• "Who has a variable number of thumbs and is going to exterminate all carbon-based life? This guy!"
• Issue three has this delightful moment:
  Nadia: Oooh! My new phone is already ringing! I can do that thing I saw on the internet! *answers* New phone, who dis?
  Jarvis: Merciful heavens.
• An introductory blurb for Matt Murdock reads:
  Matt Murdock. Nadia's immigration lawyer. Otherwise a normal guy—why, what have you heard?
• Nadia continuing to refer to Matt Murdock as Matt Modok, even after he corrects her.
• In Issue 5, Jarvis is startled awake by a knock at the door. His reaction:
  Jarvis: Huh, what? Who's a Skrull now?
• The text boxes in issue 1 of the 2018 run referring to Shay as a "tiny gay disaster".
• In issue 1 of the 2018 run, Nadia puts an A.I.M. goon to sleep with a chokehold, who complains that he had tickets to see Dazzler. Nadia then frantically asks if tickets are still available, only to realize the guy's already unconscious.
• In issue 6 of the 2018 run, Nadia gives Taina a special new G.I.R.L. badge and she learns that a special voice command gives her her own set of working Wasp Wings. The next page has Nadia and Taina flying in the sky with Taina giving her approval of the device.
  Taina: SUCK IT, GRAVITY!
• In issue 7 of the 2018 run Nadia has her first birthday party, one of the guests is Tony Stark who she proceeds to seriously freak out after it’s pointed out he is in a romantic relationship with Janet by reminding him that she is a trained assassin. When he tells Janet she responds “She’s a good girl”.
  • Cassie Lang gives a gift to Nadia: a team-up fight, with G.I.R.L., the Champions, the Young Avengers and other heroes against White Rabbit and her goons drop in the club America Chavez teleports them all to.
  • Vivian spends most of the issue providing context on how various characters fit into the Pym/Van Dyne family tree. This includes which characters aren't related.
  Cassie: Viv, you don't have to tell her she's not related to people.
  Nadia: No, please do! I find it reassuring.
  • Vivian Logic Bombing herself into a BSOD while trying to explain Speed and Wiccan. The two are reincarnated souls the Scarlet Witch plucked from Mephisto's realm and forged into children for the Vision and herself, then "put back" after she went absolutely nuts, but were still reborn as twin boys to different families and grew up to both become superheroes.
  • Nadia, Ying, and Priya having a group SQUEE! over Ying and Shay being official girlfriends now.
  • Also, Shay and Riri chatting science over Shay's portal technology.
  Riri: [Examining the portal gate Shay has built] "Show me how you're handling this much power, and I'll let you test-drive my armor."
  Shay: [Running through the background of the next scene] "I NEED A NOTEPAD!"
  • The issue still embraces the Early-Installment Weirdness of Nadia's irrational hatred of Spider-Man.
  Tania: Hey Nadia, why did you tell me Spider-Man sucks? His mom's from Puerto Rico!
  Miles: WHAT?! I though we were friends?
  Nadia: Not him—I like this one. I was talking about the other Spider-Man.
