• Spike's deadpan reply when Twilight starts fussing and worrying about damaged books:
  Twilight Sparkle: Honestly, you’d think whoever worked here before me had no regard for the welfare of these books!
  Spike: You're running a library, Twilight, not an animal's home.
• The old librarian, Scrollstacker, apparently remembers some rather embarrassing things about the last time Twilight visited him:
  Scrollstacker: Oh, and if you do fall asleep, try to make sure there aren’t any books nearby. Last time you were here, it took me about a week to get the saliva stains out of that copy of the Protocols of the Elders of Smooze.
  • Protocols of the Elders of Smooze. Let that phrase sink in.
• Rarity being rendered catatonic with shock. By stumbling into a particularly-deep mud puddle.
• Pinkie Pie's song, 'The Epic Tale of Shiny Shield', is a pretty funny story. Applejack's reaction to Pinkie singing it is hilarious:
  "Don’t encourage her, folks! That song goes on fer another forty-seven verses!"
• Rowanoak, a mysterious old earth pony who lives by a waterfall, demonstrates some rather strange magical abilities. When questioned about it by Twilight, how does she answer?
  "It's just funny that way."
• Applejack, talking in her sleep and referencing G1 ponies both at the same time:
  "Wha… What’re ya doin’? Ya can’t… go out now, the… seaponies are… dancin’… Shooo..bee, doobee..."
• While jouurneying to the mountains, the mane 6 stumble on Fido, Rover and Spot, the Diamond Dogs who had kidnapped Rarity back in season 1. Rarity decides to have a little fun with them. She enters their camp with her hood up, and they surround her, ready to pounce. Then she reveals her face, and the Dogs flee in terror. Apparently they still haven't gotten over her whining.
• Starswirl the Bearded's completely calm response to Twilight's shock that he has turned up.
  Twilight Sparkle: But you're dead!
  Starswirl: Indeed. And yet here I sit for all the world to see. Equestria is a strange place, is it not?
• Try reading King Gideon's speeches with BRIAN BLESSED!!!!!'s voice.
