• Everyone's zigzagging concern for the baby Jesus doll in the first season's Christmas episode.
• In “Gladys,” Kevin leaves a expletive-laden voicemail for the AFTEC guy while Matt is with him. Matt’s response? “I can say fuck too!”
• In "Solace For Tired Feet", Kevin is yelling at the GR members outside Nora's house... and then Nora sprays them with a water hose. Kevin is surprised, but pleased ("That was awesome!" Yes. Yes, it was).
• This exchange in "A Simply Matter of Geography":
  Kevin: Uh, I've been walking in my sleep. I was taking medication, so I tossed my pills. I figured that'd be the end of it, but then I grabbed Patti Levin and I took her to a cabin. And when I woke up, I tried to let her go, but she wouldn't let me. And she killed herself. So I called your brother Matt and we buried her, and nobody else knows. And I smoke.
  Nora: I hire prostitutes to shoot me.
• In the third season premiere, Kevin meets with Dean, a hunter from a previous episode. It's clear the man has gone off the deep end, convinced that dogs have now taken on human form to cause more disaster. Kevin calmly asks him to leave and when he turns around, he sees Dean is blowing on a dog whistle as if expecting Kevin to react.
