It's GARFIELD. Laughs are absolutely mandatory.
- After Jon offers kitten Garfield some seconds, Garfield, rather than eat the single pepperoni slice in Jon's hand, eats the entire rest of the pizza instead. After that, it's just chaos as the cat eats just about every edible thing in his sight.
- In the second part of the trailer, there's a scene where Garfield and his father Vic are on a train. Vic then asks Garfield if he's ever jumped a train, to which Garfield responds with "I've never jumped". And then Vic just kicks Garfield out of the train, sending him into various painful places including an inexplicable giant Garfield balloon, after which he stops upon crashing into a tree.
- Garfield is known for despising Mondays, especially Monday the 13th. Guess when the first two trailers released?
- In the second trailer, while at the vet, Garfield manages to destroy the weighing scale he is on. Liz grabs a microphone and asks for a bigger scale. Garfield, rather embarrassedly, asks the audience if letting everyone in the office know was necessary.
- When Garfield and Odie are visited by Nolan and Roland, the cat has this to say:Garfield: [uninterested] Odie, I'm dreaming again. Slap me across the face. [Odie does so, and Roland faces Garfield and roars] …Nope! Still dreaming.
- When Garfield gets flung onto the windshield of a stranger's car, he makes a maniacal face on it, and instead of freaking out, the driver is completely unbothered and just uses his wipers to fling Garfield off it like it's no big deal.
- As Vic says to his son he needs to toughen up, Garfield says he knows tough, having "been in an Olive Garden that's run out of breadsticks". In the second trailer, this is sandwiched with a montage which involves him being flown out a window and hitting a tree, getting scared by a spider, and getting licked by Odie.
- While the trio are in the factory, as Garfield falls into an abyss, he’s saved by a giant cube of cheddar cheese, which he says is “probably one of his top 26 favorite cheeses”. He then questions what happens when the countdown near him hits zero. Vic and Odie then look at each other confused before it does, and the cube of cheese is blasted down the conveyor belt.
- The second Trailer reveals that Snoop Dogg will be in the movie.........as a cat.
- At the end of the movie, Garfield, Jon and Odie are all reunited, with Vic settling in with them and becoming part of the family… And then Jon is hit with a takeout bill for 6,000 drone orders, the same ones made by Odie that were used to help Garfield. Cue credits.
