• Bianca narrates about her mom, "Three years ago, my dad left her, and she did not handle it well." Cut to Dottie (with the incomparable Allison Janney making it way funnier than it ought to be) crying and drinking wine...while she rides a lawnmower over her ex's clothes.
• Wes firmly establishes himself as a Deadpan Snarker.
  Madison: I could be dating college guys, or famous people, or 30-year-olds.
  Wes: That sounds like an awesome episode of Dateline. Enjoy those saggy balls. [walks away]
  Madison: Fine, I will. [realizes what she said]
• The Shopping scene where Bianca tries and fails modeling several cute outfits for Wes.
• Bianca finds the photo her mom picked for her dating profiles to be not the best look.
  Dottie: Well, it's either that or all the duckhead poses people do on here. [sees Bianca's look of confusion and purses her lips comically]
  Bianca: Oh! No, no. Dear God. It's duckface, and...stop that, forever.
• Wes shoves a guy up against a column and threatens him.
  Wes: No one else sees that video! Tell everyone!
  Kid: I don't know that many people!
  Wes: [momentarily stymied] ...Well, make some more friends and tell them!
• When his students' phones all start ringing at the same time, Principal Buchanan, who immediately realizes taking them was a bad idea, ends up scrambling to turn them all off.
• Bianca’s Deadpan Snarker moment when she enters the boys' locker room. One boy asks her, “What is this?” and she says in response, “Kinda looks like a penis but only smaller”. The boy can only express shock at her comment while other boys laugh.
