Funny / The Adventures of 10ACraft

Go To

Despite the series' relatively simplistic style, it does have some funny moments thrown in every now and then.

    General

  • The generally unemotive text-to-speech voices usually present their lines in odd, monotonous ways, which can sound pretty daft at times.
    • Also, "Nishuh".note
  • Anytime anyone kills another character is worth a quick laugh or two, whether it being an elaborate plan, anticlimactic, or pure accident.
  • Possibly unintential, but the messed up physics engine in 10ACraft: Fighter Edition can offer some quick laughs the first few times one plays it. Exhibit A (about 2 minutes in): https://youtu.be/Wc3V1_2p0-o

    Season 1

  • Episode 1:
    • Ross's Comical Overreacting upon getting wood for the first time.
    • Matthew jumping down a ravine in an attempt to find iron.
    • At the end of the episode, Kyle C spends what is implied to be a good deal of time tracking down Ross and Erin's groups (presumably for company)... only to be killed by Sharkey within seconds.
  • Episode 2:
    • Beth O'N setting off the trap in a desert temple was quite the Epic Fail.
    • Elgin trying in vain to fight a skeleton during sunrise.
  • Episode 3 had quite a few gems:
    • Elgin, Conall and Scott causing trouble before the game even begins. They try to escape the arena by climbing the wall.
    • Sharkey complaining about having to go through the girls' changing rooms, especially the irony of it when you consider some of Sharkey's more perverted tendencies.
    • Elgin going up to the top floor to try and warn the others about the zombies... only to get killed by Kyle H.
    • The Narrator seemingly gets fed up of people dying.
Narrator:Let's see if we can go a full minute without another FREAKING DEATH!!!
    • The fact that Erin took herself out of the game due to there being no internet connection.note
    • Kyle M wins the game because Scott and Conall failed to set up a trap and proceeded to argue with and kill one another.
      • The anti-climactic nature of this just sells it.
  • Episode 4:
    • Matthew stealing porkchops from Nisha, especially since he briefly dons the Troll Face.
    • At one point, a group of peoplenote  find a relatively deep cave. The first thing Sharkey does is sacrifice Kyle C by pushing him in.
      • Made even funnier when Kyle actually survives.
      • It gets even better. Kyle tells everyone that its safe because there is water, so if the others land in it, they'll avoid damage. The others miss the water entirely and land on hard stone. Special mentiom goes to Peter, who took a particularly painful-looking fall to the chest.
  • Erin, Katherine, Amber and Katie wait for about 30 seconds trying to grow a sapling, before giving up.
Amber:Yeah ok, the waiting game sucks.
  • Episode 5 has Rebecca running away from a skeleton, seeking shelter in the house. When she finally does get to the basement, Alex D somehow manages to mistake her for a monster and kills her on the spot.
    • This episode also starts the running gag of Peter questioning the logic in Minecraft. A pretty funny bit in this episode involves Peter finding a rose. Several feet underground.
  • Episode 6 had quite a few moments:
    • The terrain gag from the previous episode returns, except this time, Katherine and one of the Beths also question this.
    • The text conversation between Elgin and Katie is pretty humorous. Katie texts Elgin about finding new land; Elfin simply responds "Screw you XD".
    • The sheer disbelief on Nisha, Anna and Megan's faces when Ross tells them that Emily, Jasmine and Molly found gold while mining is priceless.
    • Ben throws Alex W off a cliff just for insulting his flirting skills. Matthew and Kyle M then rub some salt into the wound.
  • Episode 8:
    • When Sharkey wakes up in the new world, he asks himself if he's high.
    • When Sharkey starts destroying Laura with Your Mom insults.
    • Elgin questioning Mr. Coyle's scoring system.
    • In a Call-Back to Episode 1, Matthew jumps down a ravine in an attempt to find iron and other ores. This time, he survives.
    • Elgin killing Katie in front of everyone before displaying a case of Inplausable Deniability. Hilariously, Ross, Amber and Alex D all fall for it!
    • Emily calling a zombie a pervert right as it's about to kill her.
  • Episode 9:
    • To say that Matthew's a bit slower this episode is putting it lightly...
Matthew:(When asking Kyle if he missed some gold) Hey, Kyle, did you-
      Beth O'N:(Facepalming) Matt, he's gone.
(Kyle C is nowhere in sight)
Matthew:What the- where did he go?
Kyle C:Did you say somethimg? I'm kinda busy trying to mine lapis over here.
      Matthew:Oh, OK.
      (Beat)
      Matthew:Wait, did you say Lapis?
    • Alex W starting to stir up trouble and trying to plan revenge on Scott purely because he wanted to help others rather than win the gamenote  is pretty amusing given how stupid the whole idea is. He also snaps at Megan.
Peter:Can we even go a full ten minutes without somebody dying?
    • Also, the fact that Alex W ends up losing and getting knocked into lava while he had an iron sword and Scott was bare-handed.
  • Episode 10 features the characters killing each other with bows and arrows, but not before spouting pretty humorous one-liners. Special mention goes to Laura and Peter:
Peter:(Shoots Beth O'L, shortly after Beth shoots Erin) Damn! I was too late!
Laura:You lack of speed really does let you down, doesn't it Pete?
Peter:Hey! As if you can say much!
    (Laura shoots him)
Laura:You didn't see that one coming, it was that fast, did you?
  • Episode 12 has Ben trying to guide the girls to a village with a map that he drew. Problem is, he's a Terrible Artist. It has to be seen to be believed.
  • Episode 16 has a few gems:
    • Nisha, in a display of Fantastic Racism, outright pissed that Timmy ends up in their team.
    • The fact that Timmy kinda sucks at being a goalie just makes the above even worse.
    • Elgin blasting Alex W in the face with a football. Doubles as Laser-Guided Karma.
  • Episode 17:
    • Alex W and Scott get into anotger feud, this time over a game of Super Smash Bros 4 Wii U, of all things. The fact that Elgin, Conall and Kyle H continue to rub salt into the wounds make the scene even funnier.
      • The scene ends with Alex W killing Kyle H by THROWING A CONTROLLER.
    • Ben, Matthew, Rebecca, Laura, Alex D and the Beths singing christmas carols in the bedroom is funny as well as being a bit of Narm Charm. YMMV on how in-tune they actually are.
    • Sharkey tries to prank Kyle C by sending him down a chimney to clean it out.
      • The funny part is, for once, Sharkey isn't responsible for Kyle's actually death; the fire burned the wood which Kyle was trying to unblock, causing him to fall in the fire.
  • Episode 18 continues the chaos.
    • It starts with Sharkey and Kyle C teaming up (yes, you heard that right) in an attempt to start christmas early by sneaking down to open up presents. Sharkey, however, spots Herobrine in the fire place and tries to warn Kyle. Rightfully so, Kyle simply thinks its another prank, even going as far as quoting "The boy who cried Wolf"!
    • The church scene reveals that Ross has quite the falsetto voice on him.
      • Alex W starts laughing (which in itself is funny given the sound clip that plays), with Matthew outright punching him in an attempt to shut him up.
    • When Ewan and Lindsay turn up at the door as visitors, the first question Ewan asks is "What's for Dinner".
  • Episode 20 arguably had some of the funniest moments in the entire series, ranging from:
    • The fact that some of TheSuperArtistGamer's questions become so stupid that he outright refuses to answer.
    • Kyle C getting mauled by Sharkey not once, but TWICE.
    • Emily holding a sign that says "1 Like = 1 Prayer" when Ross says that he's forever alone.
    • Alex W getting the most ridiculous questions, particularly "Does your dad sell avon?" and "Can you leave the game please and thank you.".
      • The latter question actually gets done... by Mr. Coyle, of all characters!
    • When the gang are asked if they like school, to which some reply with what would be the equivilant of "meh", some outright stating that it sucks... and Ross enthusiastically saying he enjoys school, receiving questionable looks.
Nisha:Reconsider your life, you lanky trashbag.
    • Elgin having a Screw This, I'm Outta Here moment after Katie pushes his Berserk Button one too many times.
    • Conall's question simply delves into absolute chaos:
      • A viewer asked "Shots Fired?", with Conall stating that he can't just say it randomly and that he needs to wait for an interesting argument to occur. Then an argument occurs between Scott, Kyle M, Emily and Nisha. After Scott brings up a good point, Sharkey shoots it down with a hilarious Your Mom joke. Conall and Sharkey then go mental while the other four just look on in bewilderment.
  • Episode 23:
    • Ross falls at the final obstacle, only to respawn all the way back at the beginning of the course. Apparently Dylan and Reece never accounted for non-drowning deaths.
    • A few minutes later, Kyle M delivers this gem:
Kyle M:Go on Conall, you are champ.
  • For an episode that's about the class battling each other, Episode 24 does have some funny bits here and there as well.
    • Peter asks Mr. Coyle how the platforms are supposed to rise without the aid of mechanics and electrics. Mr. Coyle's response is literally just "Magic Bullshit, obviously!" His derp face certainly helps.
    • The game starts. What's the first thing Elgin does? Kill Katie, of course!
    • Nisha responding with a apathetic "Cool" upon Jasmine's death by Megan.
    • Peter's moment of idiot balling is such a hilariously Out-of-Character Moment made ten times better by Elgin's reaction.
      Elgin:What idiots.
    • The fact that neither Sharkey nor Alex W ended up winning the overall tournament, not to mention the latter's reaction, is amusingly anti-climactic.
      • Alex W blurting out profanity in front of Mr. Coyle is also worth mentioning.

    Season 2

  • Episode 1 - a new update, new features, new goals, and new comedy...
    • Episode 1 begins with Sharkey having a mental episode over a book, of all things.
    • The revelation that Amber stole torches from the gang's house, particularly the informal way Anna puts it ("she stoked them from the gaff"), as well as Scott's Comical Over Reaction.
  • Episode 2 consists of the gang going to the Nether...
    • ...Matthew, of course choosing to be the test subject for such a mission, runs right in while yelling "Leeroy Jenkins"!
    • Elgin's growing impatience with his mining group at the start of the episode is pretty humurous, with Sharkey and Conall in particular getting into mishapnote
    • Alex W's Sexy Dragon Dildo!note
    • Near the end of the episode, once the gang reach the Nether, Ben gets set on fire by a Blaze. Peter and Ross both step in to lend a hand, but not before giving off battle cries which the text-to-speech engine butchers to hilarious degrees.
  • Episode 5, where the gang return to school to play Cops and Robbers, has Elgin, Conall and Scott trying to escape the school again.
    • About halfway through the episode, Ross and Emily take a break from the action to reminisce over the times they've shared back when the class were at school... only for Elgin and Sharkey arrive on the scene and proceed to take the entire thing out of context.
  • Season 2, Episode 6 has another moment involving Ross, with his hilariously awkward situation where he chats to a random girl... it has to be seen to be believed.
    • Conall, Sharkey and Elgin's laughing over it sell the scene.
  • Season 2, Episode 8 continues the Ross abuse. You would almost feel sorry for him if the slagging wasn't so hysterical.
    • Later on, Elgin gets a taste of it, as well after Katie texts him. He doesn't take it well.
    • The four lads in general are pretty funny in this episode, with Ross basically being a human chew toy, Conall's constant defamation and drama-starting, Sharkey's perverted and amusingly disturbing lines towards the end of the episode, and Elgin just being Elgin, all providing solid entertainment.
  • Nisha's Precision F-Strike in Season 2, Episode 9 in response to Sharkey calling her a man is utterly hilarious. Bonus points for the fact that it's a soundbyte, and bonus bonus points for the fact that it comes out of nowhere.
