Funny / SpongeBob SquarePants Season 12

242A - FarmerBob

243A - The Nitwitting

  • Apparently, when SpongeBob becomes an Emptyhead, he can't even say his catchphrase correctly.
SpongeBob: Slime ready! Uh, dime Betty! Spa-ghetti! I'm sweaty! I'm all wetty!
  • The episode's song ends with the line "Has anyone seen my socks?"
  • This conversation:
    SpongeBob: Well, bye, buddy.
    Patrick: My name's "Buddy" now?
  • The implication that Patrick and his club do their "community service" very often, and Sandy's group has to go and clean up their mess.

242B - Gary & Spot

  • Gary imitating SpongeBob.

243A - The Ballad of Filthy Muck

  • Everyone is bothered by Filthy Muck's terrible scent. Except Old Man Jenkins, who has no sense of smell.

244A - The Krusty Slammer

245B - King Plankton

  • Three chimps lock together like the Barrel of Monkeys toy as Patrick drinks the aquarium.

247A - Swamp Mates

  • Bubble Bass' social life is so non-existent that his mother sets up with a play date like he's a young child in need of friends... which, to be fair, he is, just in an adult's body.

250A - Broken Alarm

  • The three time cards that correspond to SpongeBob being late for work: "1 Hour Later...", "Late Again..." and "You Get The Idea!"

252b-Dirty Bubble Returns

  • When the Dirty Bubble starts sucking up Goo Lagoon, SpongeBob starts writing his will:
SpongeBob: And to my beloved pet Gary, I bequeath my pineapple, my toolshed, my mailbox, and Patrick.

254+255 - SpongeBob's Big Birthday Blowout

  • After SpongeBob answers the door, Patrick attempts to remember to get him on the tour bus. This causes him to make his trademark Stupidly Long Filler Sound while a river of drool runs down from his mouth, and he makes sillier face with each new shot. Then he snaps out of it, only to set his brain on fire, giving him amnesia, which is cured only a few moments later.
  • As the gang is entering SpongeBob's house so they can decorate it for his surprise party, Mr. Krabs makes Old Man Walker stand outside as a lookout for in case SpongeBob comes back earlier than expected—when Old Man Walker tries hollering, all that comes out is a cloud of dust and some spiders.
  • The Big-Lipped Alligator Moment in the office. It is announced that gorilla mask sales are going down, so the workers all dress up as gorillas and go crazy.
  • Patrick's reaction to Bean-Go:
    Patrick: Must have BEANS!
    • The host of the Bean-Go is played by none other than Kel Mitchell, who makes the scene with his trademark Large Ham acting.
  • Pretty much everything that happens in the Trusty Slab is nonstop hilarity. There's a reason most of the promotional material put focus on it.
  • In a Call-Forward to the first movie, David Hasselhoff makes an appearance as a beach-goer, who's treated like a Butt-Monkey every time he's on screen. In the end, he decides that living in volcano is safer than living on the beach.
  • As the guests begin to run amok while waiting for SpongeBob to get home, at one point we cut to Plankton with several characters in torture devices, including Fred, who is in a device that is painfully stretching HIS LEG!!! out.
    Plankton: Say it, Fred!
    Fred: No.
Plankton: (pulling Fred's leg tighter) SAY IT!!
    Fred: (completely emotionless) My leg...

266 - Escape from Beneath Glove World

  • SpongeBob and Patrick have so much fun on a baseball-themed ride called "Catch Me!" that the former wishes that they could ride it "a million, zillion, jillion, dillion, cotillion times!" Patrick then produces a bunch of tickets from his bellybutton so they can do just that.
    • After going on "Catch Me!" for so long, the duo is now sporting hugely grotesque unsmiles. After scaring a mother and her baby, SpongeBob tells Patrick that they probably overdid on the ride—but when a male-parkgoer gets freaked out by them and tosses some popcorn at them, Patrick claims, "That's debatable."
    • The duo decides to take break at the park's movie theater and give each other a Glove Slap to turn them back to normal.
  • While SpongeBob, Patrick and the toddler they befriend are exploring the secret labs beneath Glove World, one of the things they go through is "Guard Glove Training," with a group of anthropomorphic gloves acting just like angry guard dogs (they're all wearing protective suits for this). When the guard gloves attack them, none of the trio seems too bothered by it, with SpongeBob figuring that the gloves are probably just smelling his pet snail, Gary, on him.
  • There's this scene while they're riding the sock flume in the Sock World-prototype:
Animatronic Hieronymus Glove: Baaaaaaaaaah! [bites off the back of the car]
Patrick: Do you feel a draft, SpongeBob-?
SpongeBob: I was gonna ask you the same thing... [Animatronic Hieronymus bites Patrick's butt]
Patrick: Aaaaaaaaah! Do you feel a pain in your butt?
SpongeBob: No. [Animatronic Hieronymus bites SpongeBob's butt] Ayyyyyye! Now I do! Gaaaaaah!
    Patrick: Oooo-ooow!
  • After the duo is confronted by the Animatronic Hieronymus Glove, the robot demands Patrick's head—SpongeBob, of course, tries protecting his best friend from this fate, but Patrick brushes him aside and casually pulls off his own head, telling ANH, "Here you go, I did it for you." SpongeBob's also got this hilariously horrified look on his face when Patrick pulls off his own head. This is followed by the animatronic Glove losing his temper because he wanted to take Patrick's head off.
  • Seeing Patrick's and ANH's heads on each other's bodies is pretty funny, especially once they get into a "Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots" style fight and knock each other's heads off.
  • Eventually, the gang's confronted by the real Hieronymus Glove (who's cryogenically frozen but can communicate with them just fine and is also able to get around as well, with the help of some guards). He makes Patrick and his animatronic return the heads to their rightful bodies and tells the guards/engineers to "Wipe that one's memory bank before he does more damage to my park. Thank you!" This causes one of the engineers to whack Patrick over the head with wrench before HG explains that he meant the animatronic, which (after getting whacked over the head) causes him to reboot.
  • There's this exchange between the real Hieronymus Glove and the main duo:
Hieronymus Glove: For proving yourselves to be unselfish and kind, I'm going to give all of Glove World to the both of you!
    SpongeBob and Patrick: Really?!
Hieronymus Glove: Of course not! Hahahahaha! I may be cryogenically frozen, but I'm not a loony!
  • In the end, the toddler that SpongeBob and Patrick befriended runs off again, causing the duo to chase after him, with Patrick even trying to bribe the kid with a Ham Fist.
