Per wiki policy, Spoilers Off applies here and all spoilers are unmarked. You Have Been Warned.

  • The Elder cutscenes have a few funny moments:
    • After finishing the Daylight Prairie Elder cutscene, butterflies will fly out of the containers surrounding you, and doing a Deep Call (holding on your character) will cause them to surround you and essentially lift you off to the opening that leads to Forest’s social circle. Doing so while not directly positioned under the opening will cause them to lift you off until you repeatedly slam your head into the ceiling.
    • The Elder of the Forest snatching the light from your character’s hands after staring at them for about two seconds. The contrast between the Isle Elder weakly lifting it with their staff, the Prairie elder gently cupping it before holding it to their chest and transforming it into a butterfly, and the Forest elder taking it roughly without a word is laughingly jarring.
      • This can be outshined by the Valley of Triumph elders. When they approach your character, the first thing they do is basically fight over who introduces themselves first like a couple of siblings. The girl kneels to you, the boy leans out in front of her, the girl steps out in front of him, and then the guy picks up the little flame of light with his baton. They proceed to, to put it simply, have a kiddy fight over the light using their batons. Your character is even seen hopping to try and catch the light! Unfortunately, one of them ends up throwing it into the sky, and the three are seen staring at it. You could just hear the other Elder say, “Nice going, idiot. We lost the light!”
  • In the Valley of Triumph, there’s a spirit called the Proud Victor. You can relive his memories (and most players invested in the Character Customization of Sky likely will, as his Spirit Shop contains the highly sought-after Black Mask/Invisible Mask) What do you see in his memories? Him rather fantastically stacking it during his Big Entrance, slipping and sliding all over the Coliseum’s ice rink before finally managing to get to the podium. The cherry on top is that he gives you the Proud Posture after this, which makes it seem less like he’s actually proud of himself and moreso going “Yeah, I Meant to Do That.”
  • Wasteland's opening scene. Go look at the Descendant's resulting position as a reminder that after all, they are children and do childlike things.
  • The way the Descendants run, flinging their arms about while kicking their legs in the air. It is another nice addition to their childish air.
  • While holding hands, the one leading runs faster than the other, although the space between paces differs depending on heights. This becomes humorous if you are chibi-sized: lead and your friend just follows behind more casually, follow and it looks like your friend is running around excitedly while your tiny legs work hard to catch up.
  • Lose your friend? Honk to see where they are, and press the arrow button to automatically walk or fly towards them, the latter causing you to spin wildly in front of them once you reach them.
    • As a joke, some trigger a glitch so their character would spin around another nonstop.
  • Standing near a ledge while holding your friend’s hand and letting go of them to watch them fall down.
  • During the first week of the Season Of Dreams, players inexplicably couldn’t complete the first Seasonal Quest, because the spirit would just... disappear. Or the memory reliving would work, but the player would end up stuck because the quest wasn’t registered as completed.
    • Speaking of which, during the previous season, Prophecy, Descendants would complete the Trials, and when they leave, they’ll be glowing brightly, due to a bug causing them to retain the glow they gained when they meditated at the Trial’s finishing shrine. Jokes about the sky kids resembling Winged Light ensued.
  • The season guide during the Season of Shattering isn't a regular spirit, but a shard of the void. It still does the same thing as any season guide when you collect the candles from your daily quest though—namely, it bounces and cheers, resulting in the ominously glowing reddish diamond shape leaping into the air with a triumphant sound effect.
  • For the anniversary events, the crabs in the secret area wear party hats. Know what else wears party hats? The Dark Dragons. And not just the one in the secret area - any of them you encounter will be wearing one. Nothing like seeing such a terrifying enemy festooned with a paper hat to ease the tension in the final few areas.
