- In the second episode, Rai ignores his true calling as a Hikaribito and tries to fill his life with women, only to realise it's not fulfilling him the way he wanted. So he yells at his herd of floozies and sends them off with a "go home and reflect on your lifestyles!"
- #5. Just the five Hikaribito trying to figure out the mosquito coil... especially since Western viewers may find themselves doing the same.
- #6. The five Hikaribito try to unlock something with their combined powers, and realise it can't be done because Gou... well... gave up a spark of it to a girl. And Shou acts like he cheated on her.
- #8 has a Stringy-Haired Ghost Girl that preys on anyone who eats pickled plums. By the time Gou solves the puzzle, it's already claimed the other four Hikaribito, and Gou rushes like mad to warn Hitomi - only to see the Stringy-Haired Ghost Girl also running like mad to get to her before he does! What follows is a race to the finish line as the ghost girl reveals itself to be a Magii by passing the baton to its suited Magii form, forcing face-actor Gou to pass the baton to Hikaribito-form Gou!
