Funny / Mickey's House of Villains

Go To

There's laughs to be had as the Disney villains take over the House of Mouse.

Main plot

  • By way Memetic Mutation, Piglet and Bambi apparently marching alongside the Disney Villains.
  • Donald tries to scare the denizens of the House during the night.
    • His first attempt is with Beast, who predictably roars at him and scares him off.
    • The Fates rebuff him and warn him that they've got their eye on him.
    • At the end, he dons a costume of Jafar, only to find that Goofy had beaten him to it. He finally gives up.
  • When the villain cabal initially assembles, Cruella inadvertently drapes her coat on Hook, who angrily shoves it off.
  • Iago then rants at Jafar, Ursula, Cruella, and Hook for being a bunch of dull villains on Halloween.
  • During "It's Our House Now!", Chernabog courts Maleficent with the Big Bad Wolf cheering him on.
    • The Queen of Hearts chops off the Fates' heads.
    • The villains form a conga line, and Stromboli is forced to simply march along as Lucifer the cat is in front of him. Gaston also has to hunch over to hold the shoulders of one of Hook's pirates in front of him.
  • Mickey's initial attempt to reclaim the House leaves a lot to be desired.
Mickey: All right, Jafar, you've had your fun! Now give me my house back! And I've brought my boys with me!
(Jafar snaps his fingers, summoning Hades, Ursula, and then the colossal Chernabog who cracks his knuckles. The heroes cower before they're thrown out)
  • Minnie storms into the House, ready to unleash fire and brimstone upon the villains if they don't leave. Goofy says he's never seen her this mad, and Mickey dryly admits that he has.
    • Jafar barely acknowledges Minnie, and has Hook scoop her up by her collar with his hook and carry her out, sneering.
  • Aladdin's sudden appearance at the end, for the sheer Deus ex Machina that it is.
  • When Mickey prepares to use the lamp on Jafar, the other villains panic and run for their lives, abandoning their leader and losing the House.

Shorts

  • "Trick or Treat"
    • Witch Hazel is scared by one of the nephew's pumpkins, and believes them to be monsters.
    • Hazel is later rather... drunk on the concoction she samples.
    • Hazel's ghosts wreak havoc on Donald's house before they enter. When they do, Donald relents and prepares treats for the boys, and Hazel calls him a pushover pigeon. Donald responds by locking the door and swallowing the key. Hazel, enraged, enchants his feet to make him dance and spit out the key, culminating in forcing Donald to sit on the fire place to spit up the key.
    • Donald responds to this by throwing the key under the closet door. Hazel has finally had it and forces Donald to run a mile or two away, and break down the door with his head.
  • "Mickey's Mechanical House"
    • The sheer ease Mickey has with moving into his fancy new house and moving back to his old one.
    • The robot tries to subdue Mickey by placing him in a diaper with a huge lock holding it together.
  • "Lonesome Ghosts"
    • The main trio are so surprised at having a call that they almost miss it.
    • One of the ghosts makes an awful female voice.
    • The various hijinks the ghosts get up to, from tricking Goofy into jabbing himself with a pin to destroying Mickey's shotgun.
    • The end sees the ghosts scared away by Mickey, Donald, and Goofy, who are covered in flour and molasses. How ironic!
  • "Dance of the Goofy's"
    • The slacker Goofy's antics, which are pretty much characteristic of the Goofy we know.
  • "Donald Duck and the Gorilla"
    • The nephews getting back at Donald with their gorilla costume before Ajax arrives.
    • One of the nephews accidentally burns Donald's tail feathers with candle wax. Then, Donald holds his candle below a doorknob too long and burns the hell out of his hand when he grabs it!
    • Ajax chasing Donald around the house, particularly when he's accidentally forced up a ladder, and his momentum causes him to crash upward several stories.
    • Donald hears on the radio that you can supposedly master any beast by staring it straight in the eye. Donald tries it, only for Ajax's eyes to form two tombstones with the heading "HERE LIES A DEAD DUCK".
    • Ajax and Donald end up crying into each other when the nephews lob in some tear gas.
  • "Donald's Halloween Scare"
    • Goofy's all dressed up for Easter, and hands out eggs. When told that he's supposed to be giving out candy, at the end of the short, he's decorated for Christmas and is handing out candy canes.
    • The reveal that Donald is just stealing the nephews' candy and is visibly fatter after a few hours of eating it.
  • "Hansel and Gretel"
    • While the darkest of the shorts, there's a moment when Mickey fakes being too weak to open the oven door to stall when the witch directs him to hop inside to be cooked.
