Menace II Society is known to be one of the most violent, realistic urban hood films ever made and is full of dark violent, tearjerking moments. But, it isn’t completely devoid of humorous scenes.
- In the flashback sequence in 1978, a young Cain takes a sip of alcohol, only to spit it out in disgust, exclaiming: "What the fuck is that?" The hoods laugh at this.
- The goons who carjacked Cain and Harold trading insults with a female food worker, who is tired of hooking them up with free food too many times.
- A-Wax and Jackee chastising O-Dog for killing the basehead and taking his bag of cheeseburgers.
- Chauncey’s dialogue with the white man Nick, who gives him information about the car he proposes for an insurance heist scam.
- Cain carjacking a young dealer in a fast-food restaurant drive-thru.Cain: (pointing the gun at the man’s head) Turn that motherfucking shit down! (the man turns down the radio)
Man: Nigga, what the fuck do you want from me?
Cain: Nigga, you know what the fuck I want. I want your motherfucking Dayton’s and your motherfucking stereo. And I take a double burger with cheese.
Man: (in disbelief) What?!
Cain: Motherfucker, order my motherfucking food!
Drive-Thru Cashier: Hi, can I help you?
Man: Uh, lemme get a double burger. Some fries— (Cain pulls him back in)
Cain: Motherfucker, I said with cheese, nigga!
Man: Shit! (to the cashier) Uh, make that a double burger with cheese.
