- When the football team gets spirited away in "Opening Kick-Off", Darren needs answers. (Compare Lance-Trunk in "Crescendo".)
Darren: Trunk, what's going on?!
Trunk: It's the end of the world, man!
- In "Assault on Castle Morgana", Squire Tyronne accidentally but happily smuggles himself along on a mission.
Breeze: "Aw men, breaking into Castle Morgana is one thing, but doing it with a kid hanging around...!"
Tyronne: "We're breaking into Castle Morgana!!"
Arthur: "The only castle you're breaking into is Castle Camelot!"
Tyronne: "Gee, I- I'm going to have a tough time getting past all the Warlords guarding it..."
- "The Challenge"
- Viper is accompanied by Blackwing and Spike when Zeke arrives at the siege line with a message from Arthur.
Zeke: I am to read a message to Lord Viper in the presence of two of your bravest Warlords.
Viper: These be not ladies-in-waiting. Read your message, Knight!
- Literally none of the Knights thought Viper would accept a challenge to a one-on-one duel and not cheat. So they ride out to the duel's grounds.
Viper: (loud noises in the distance) "Sure sounds like more than one Warlord to me."
- "To Save a Squire"
- The Knights try to leave Camelot without having to deal with the siege line.
Arthur: "Wally and Brick's light should draw the Warlords."
Hammer: "HERE is our target! Did you think you'd lure us all away so easily?"
Arthur: "It was worth a try."
- Blackwing was to drop a potion causing eternal agony on Arthur. He reported back successfully, but...
Blackwing: "I could not have missed him, Lord Viper!"
Viper: "Then who was I fighting?"
- In "The Surrender", the Warlords break into Camelot while the Knights are off. The ladies and squires hide in a tower and try to keep the enemy at bay by throwing stuff down. It goes well until Bash enters the scene and perfectly smashes every object out of its trajectory.
Everett: "Well, it seemed like a good idea."
- The Knights try to get Darren's key back from Morgana in "Darren's Key", but the mission faces a hiccup.
Trunk: "Well, now they've got Darren's key and Darren."
- "A Matter of Honor"
- Trunk, Wally, Brick, and Tone get trounced by Chang and Awan.
Brick: "Awh, this is getting ridiculous!"
Wally: "I've got a feeling it's about to get worse." (camera pans to the rest of the Purple Horde joining the battle)
Brick: "Yeah? And I've got a feeling it's about to get even worser." (camera pans to the Warlords joining the battle)
Wally: "'Worser'?"
- Viper vs. Chang, Round 1. And keep in mind, the Warlords were supposed to arrange an alliance. After already failing once before.
Chang: "I am Chang."
Viper: "And I am Lord Viper. Queen Morgana sends me to find out what it is you want."
Chang: "To conquer your land, make slaves of you, and beat any who stand against me!"
Viper: "I have had enough of this swine! Slay him!"
- Gallop takes it upon himself to teach Katherine and her village self-defense.
Breeze: "Yo, Gallop, how did it go?"
Gallop: "Great! I taught everyone in the village all about self-defense." *gets thrown off his horse because he has trouble sitting* "But remind me never to show one of my girlfriends how to use judo again. Yo, Merlin, you've got anything for a really sore-"
Merlin: "Yes, yes. This way, Sir Gallop, I believe I can fix you up."
- The Warlords have opinions about the Camelot-themed theme park in "Camelot Park".
Hammer: "Arthur's fish & chips? Dragon sauce? What kind of place is this, Lord Viper?"
Viper: "A future place, as Morgana explained."
Bash: "It seems Camelot will be inhabited only by village idiots in the future world."
- When the Knights have to travel to Fear Island in "The Island", they are forced to use a small boat to get past Castle Morgana unseen. It's rocked easily by the waves, something Brick can't handle.
Brick: *makes loud seasickness noise*
Wally: "C'mon, Brick! Morgana's castle is right over there. You keep up that tone and they're gonna hear you for sure.
Brick: "It's nice to know you're so concerned about me, Wally."
Wally: "Seasickness is all in your head."
Brick: "Yeah, tell my stomach that!"
- "Quest for the Book"
- Even after, what?, months? of knowing the new Knights, Merlin still has has to struggle through 1990s football.
Tone: "Man, Merlin, the way that you were throwing those passes, you could have been a first round draft pick!"
Merlin: "Uh, yes, why, why thank you, Sir Tone."
- The Purple Horde are tricked into fighting the Warlords. Cue a shot of Castle Morgana when Blackwing reports on Chang's apparent betrayal.
Viper: "HE DID WHAT?!"
- Viper vs. Chang, Round 2.
Viper: "You'll rue the day you attacked my Warlords, Chang!"
Chang: "You brought this on yourself by attacking my camp!"
Viper: "WHAT?! I did not attack your camp!"
Chang: "The Warlords did! I saw them."
Viper: "Had they attacked your camp, you would not be here to fight this battle." *barely blocks Chang's retribution for that remark*
- "Enter Morgana"
- Phil doesn't think it's likely the Warlords would ever give up.
Phil: "No Warlords? I don't believe it!"
Tyronne: "Maybe they've given up and run away?"
Phil: "Yeah, and maybe I'm gonna go on a light and healthy diet."
- Morgana has the Knights and Merlin trapped in a canyon and magics up some boulders to drop on them.
Arthur: "Merlin, how long can you keep that magical shield raised?"
Merlin: "Longer than Morgana's magic can cause the boulders to rain down on us. I hope."
Breeze: "Amen to that."
- "The Cure"
- Viper vs. Chang, Round 3.
Viper: "Don't listen to him, Morgana! This is nothing but a trick!" (Chang draws his sword against Viper) "Oh no!"
Chang: "You call Chang a liar!?!"
- The Knights are on their way to the Mountain Camp when they are attacked by Blackwing.
Breeze: "The nerve of that dude, attacking us all by his lonesome!"
Blackwing: "NOW!" *the other Warlords rise from the mud*
Breeze: "When am I gonna learn to shut up?"
- The Knights leave the Mountain Camp, armed with the Purple Horde's artillery, not knowing about but suspecting a Warlord ambush.
Breeze: "Now this is what I call one easy trip."
Wally: "You know, Breeze, every time you make a comment like that, we end up—"
Blackwing: *springs from the bushes along with the other Warlords* "ATTACK!"
Wally: "See what I mean?" *casually blasts Blackwing to smithereens* (And he only just got repaired!)
- Wally gets into trouble in "Winter Campaign" and Brick saves him despite the risk it puts him in.
Wally: "Are you nuts?!"
Brick: "No, I'm just a buddy."
- In "Tone's Triumph", Morgana spies on the Knights with her viewing rock to learn more about the gatling catapults they've acquired.
Arthur: "Think of what we can do with a whole line of your gatling catapults, Tone!"
Tone: "Yeah, I'm with you, Arthur. But those puppies take time to build."
Arthur: "Then get to work, buddy. Build 'em and we roll to Morgana's castle and knock her and the Warlords out of the game for keeps!"
Tone: "Hey, you got it, partner."
Morgana: "Puppies?!?"
- "Wizzed!"
- Unique to the comic adaptation do Queen Guinevere and Queen Morgana have a little exchange before the former is sent to the dungeon.
Guinevere: "The Knights of Justice will defeat your evil schemes — and set me free so that you may pay for your crimes!"
Morgana: "Says the queen in chains."
- 1990s lingo also works to confuse the enemy.
Arthur: "Don't count your chickens, Slasher!"
Slasher: "Huh? What chickens? I don't see no—" *gets KO'ed by a quadruple attack*
- And then Blackwing opens attack.
Blackwing: "On guard, boy king!"
Arthur: "Oh, great! This one flies!
- Preparations are not the Knights' strong suit.
Arthur: "Looks like Connecticut. Even smells like Connecticut. I wish this was Connecticut."
Lance: "Well, it can't be. I don't see any malls."
Lug: "Hey! Does anyone know where we're goin'?!"
- And finally a quip for Lucan when Lance's weapon can't harm him.
Lance: *gulp* "I'm open to suggestions here, fellas!"
Lucan: "I've got one — give up!"
- "Crescendo"
- After their abduction, Trunk and Lance face Morgana. (Compare Darren-Trunk in "Opening Kick-Off".)
Lance: "Trunk! Where are we, buddy?"
Trunk: "I'd say in trouble!"
- Arthur needs help navigating the secret entrance into Castle Morgana.
Arthur: "Okay, sword. Lead me to my friends. And try to understand that I'm not used to this magic stuff yet."
- Trunk, locked up in the dungeon, keeps straight who's a victim of circumstances and who gung-ho'd all his friends into danger.
Guinevere: "Oh, brave knights, 'tis my fault you're here!"
Trunk: "Actually, queenie, it's Arthur's."
