• Houjou, upon hearing that a man named Shouichi Tsugami has tamed the uncontrollable beast that is the G3-X, asks Ozawa what sort of man he is. "Height: 2 meters. Weight: 100 kg. A man who can shatter boulders, with a computer for a brain," she replies. Houjou is noticeably impressed. Later, he meets Shouichi for the first time... The look on his face is priceless.
  • Also, Hikawa's reaction to Ozawa choosing Shouichi. First, Hikawa challenges Shouichi to a tofu-picking-up competition to prove that harmony beats discipline. Hikawa treats it as Serious Business, but when he loses badly, he gets flustered ("Why am I picking up tofu in the first place!?") and calls Shouichi a criminal because he's an amnesiac who drives a motorcycle, claiming that amnesiacs can't get drivers' licenses. Shouichi then pulls out his license and calls Hikawa on his screw up, prompting Hikawa to get even more flustered: "What do bikes and licenses have to do with the G3-X anyway?" "You were the one who brought it up!". The entire scene works perfectly—it starts off nice and peaceful and then goes completely off the rails as soon as the tofu appears.
• When Hikawa learns that Shouichi is Agito, he's in disbelief because Shouichi is far from what he thought Agito was. Later, when the two go out for ramen and the owner confirms that Shouichi is the exact opposite of what he thought Agito was, Hikawa put his head down in despair
• Hikawa tries to help Shouichi make a bed... only to somehow break two saws.
• Shouichi eating fast in Episode 34 with Mana just watching him, all set to "DEEP BREATH".
• The Hyper Battle Video: Tele-pi summons the three riders to find out who is the strongest among them. When he thinks he finds the strongest, he promptly gifts the rider a very tacky crown that they can't get off. And so, the video basically becomes Shouichi, Makoto, and Ryou trying not to be the one stuck with it.
