Even for The Joker, this is nutty.
- After Captain Cold provides a desert community with water, he is later seen in a tent being waited on by several beautiful women, then quips, seemingly to the reader, "Who says crime doesn't pay?"
- The fact that the only reason the Joker acts out to sabotage the Legion's plans (in a nonstop Large Ham manner)... is because he's miffed he wasn't invited to join in.
- In Justice #8, a mind-controlled Supergirl tells Lois Lane that she doesn't know what her cousin sees in her:Supergirl: I don't know what Superman sees in you, Miss Lane. And don't tell me "X-Ray Vision". I have, too. And I don't see anything.
- Green Arrow thinks Black Canary is being kinky by wearing her wig for sex when Clayface disguises himself as Canary without knowing that her blonde hair is a wig.
- After rescuing Flash, Superman tells Captain Marvel to take him to an all-you-can-eat buffet in Paris nearby, so the extremely thin Flash can replenish his strength. Captain Marvel says it wouldn't be fair for the buffet.
- Superman also has to ask Captain Marvel for the 5.99 to pay for the buffet because his wallet got burned up in the sun.
- There's something (possibly unintentionally) hilarious about how some spectators call Priscilla Rich one of the biggest supporters of animal protection in the world while she is walking a pair of cheetahs on leashes and wearing enough fur to pass for Cruella De Vil.
- Between forgetting that his phone cord can't stretch as far as he can, feeling jealous that he wasn't important enough to be attacked, and bickering with Plastic Man, Elongated Man is comic relief gold (at least until he gets one of the biggest awesome moments of the climax).
- Tin, the Butt-Monkey of the Metal Men, is quite giddy about having the chance to brag about defeating Parasite, the villain who absorbed the powers of Superman and Captain Marvel. His chagrined teammates wonder how many years this gloating will go on for.
