• Upon learning about Amity's crush on her, Luz loudly proclaims that she wants to go out with Amity. Two scenes later, it's revealed Amity fainted.

Innocence Lost / The Mana Academy Car Pt II

• Skara learning that it was King in Luz's body that day and she and Luz sharing a laugh about it.
• When Luz is in deep thought about what's going on with Skara, King assumes that Luz is playing charades and makes his own assumptions of what she's acting as
  King: A half vehicle? A fanfic-writer! No, a half-vehicle pretending to be a fanfic writer!

The Cat's Car

Magical Musical / The Cat's Car

• When Amity tells Luz that she'll have to take multiple exams on the same day, Luz states that she needs to find a smart tutor to help her...Willow. Amity has practically shout in Luz's face that she could just her girlfriend for help.
• The Bat Queen makes her entrance by shouting, "FEED ME, SEYMOUR!" to the Bard teacher...who is named Seymour.
• Luz's attempt to pass the Bard exam — in which she must play a tune that will make a feast for the Bat Queen — fails because playing an instrument for an exam is different from actually being good at it. However she does get a passing grade because the Bat Queen danced to it.
  Luz: Whoo-hoo mediocrity!
• Luz learning from Skara that her father is Warden Wrath, the same person that Luz had to deal with twice and has a crush on the Owl Lady, her mentor. Which makes it even funnier that prior to that, both Eda and Lilith are peeking in the bushes to spy on her.

The Astral Car

Astral Anguish / The Astral Car

• King Larsta mentioning to Boscha that she reminds him of a previous passenger who came looking to learn Astral magic. Said passenger? Had red hair, was accompanied by a corgi and sentient book, could cast fire, summon demons and tried bashing him with a donut holer. Just imagining Chloe Cerise getting so annoyed that she tries to attack an astral being with a donut holer is a hilarious image in and of itself.
• The last time Boscha set fire to a forest, it was in something called a "Duck Hunt Car". Boscha's only excuse was that she got annoyed with the dog's annoying laugh.
• What was in the car that Boscha entered? The Cursed Princess Club!

The Cursed Princess Club Car

Tea Leaf / The Cursed Princess Club Car Pt I

• Boscha preparing herself for a "pretend tea party" which somehow includes her giving a lion-eard headband. For someone who calls herself the Apex, you'd never expect for her to choose that type of decoration.
• Skara's Delayed Reaction to Willow saving her from being digested by a Dire Mandragora.

The Boiling Underworld / The Cursed Princess Club Car Pt II

• Eda knowing someone who can take Luz and Amity to Boscha's father. Cut to them at the door of Warden Wrath, who is excited to see the woman of his dreams at his doorstep.
• Boscha questions why the Cursed Princess Club has a boy in it. Calpernia answers that the club takes anyone of cursed royalty before internally mentioning she couldn't think of a more "marketable name".
• When Boscha is trying to figure out a name for the trio of her, Chris and Phos, one of the princesses suggests a flower name. Saffron says it's a bad idea because her father tried naming the best three knights of their kingdom "The Red Lotus Trio". They got exiled because of copyright infringement.
  • Which is made even funnier because the final scene reveals that an alternate version of the Red Lotus Trio exists.
  • Or the fact that the group known as "Red Lotus Trio" was even copyrighted in the first place.
• Boscha is wondering what Skara would say if she learned about the newly named "Ruby Sulfur Trio". Cut to Skara running away from Boscha's axe-wielding mother.
  Skara: RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!
  • As Skara, Luz and the Blights run away, they pass by Prometheus playing a board game and it falls apart. He bemoans at how he was going to win. Eda thinks otherwise:
  Eda: (offscreen) No you weren't!

The Archfiends Car

Apex Evolution / The Archfiends Car

• In the Cat's Carnival Car, we see Hazel and Tuba trying out the arm wrestling game. Hazel's attempts go wrong because the game didn't start and then she was beaten easily. Tuba? Well, Tuba is a gorilla. It goes exactly how you think it would.
• Lucy annoyed that her opponent is some haughty girl with a pompous last name.
• Lindsay of the Apex questions who would want to chase after what's left of them just after they got artifacts from the Archfiends. Cut to Chloe of the Vermillion hanging out with Zero and Mega Man X to defeat a Cyber Phoenix.
  • When the Cyber Peacock is defeated, he quotes this line from the beginning of The Owl House:
  Cyber Peacock: No! My only weakness! DYING!
  • Chloe tries materializing on a platform...she ends up crashing onto the ground.
• Chloe learning about the significance of her new weapon — Mahamayuri Train — from Lexi. But just as Lexi says that no, this isn't named after a demon, Chloe just shrugs it off.
  • Judging from his appearance, this Lexi is based off of Joey Wheeler/Katsuya Jounochi instead of Specter.^note The next chapter reveals that it's actually Nail Saionji
• Chloe's mentor to train her new ability? None other than Peacock!

Armageddon

Armageddon

• In a very serious chapter, there are very hilarious scenes.
  • Chloe gets whacked across the face with the Good Witch Azura compedium from Boscha...
  • Which leads to the reveal that Chris and Atticus's fight is a game of chess. When Chloe is exclaiming that everyone is fighting, Chris retorts it's a battle of wits they're going through. Boscha groans but then states Chris better win. It's implied that Chris won.
  • When Chloe depowers Boscha, the narration calls her "Chloe of the Pink Hair Dye!" (Exclamation point included)

The Revamped Mall Car

One Month Later / The Revamped Mall Car

• Todd wailing in agony because his high score in Double Dragons is gone forever. Even better? The person who finally beat his score is Amelia who was only playing it because she got nostalgic.
• King states that Amity was able to get better at her abominations because he and the Owl House crew did nothing.
• Chloe wakes up from a nightmare about the Armageddon chapter and after seeing how everything is fine, she decides she'll go back to sleep to continue, "her perfect date with Specter".^note Exotos wrote it as a joke, Green Phantom Queen wrote it as canon for the prequel.
  • Bonus points if you know how much Green Phantom Queen really gushes about him.
• When Lexi asks what Peacock's pancakes are made of, she adds that one of the ingrediens are "the hopes and dreams of Denizens".
• Chloe then asks Peacock to tell her the tale of the Skull Heart. You know, the artifact that's caused so much suffering in Peacock's homeworld?

The Spelling Bee Car

Healing Blood / The Spelling Bee Car

• In the Cantina Car, Alex whining about the cartoon cliché of taking a number and waiting forever.
  Simon: We're not in a cartoon, Alex.
  Alex: We're inside an infinite, interdimensional Train filled with artificial creatures who'll help us deal with our issues. We might as well be in a cartoon!
  • And then when Lucy gets a number, it turns out to be that they're next in line.
• Lucy calling Louise "Louise Lastname" much to her annoyance.
• Louise tries hitting on Simon only for Grace to say that he's taken to get her off...the rest of Zenith Fantasy are amused.
• Louise stating that she'll fight alongside "legendary Red Lotus Trio" against Zenith Fantasy in the Spelling Bee Car to get back at Lucy. Chloe just squeals about the legendary part while Lexi^note Who is depicted as 12-13 in here as composed to his 16-year-old counterpart gives her a thumb's up.
• Chloe goes off to spell "Vermillion"...but fails because it has two l's. When she asks for a second opinion, everyone tells her that she misspelled it wrong.
  Chloe: What?! Why are you laughing?!
  Louise: There are two "L" in Vermillion, genius.
  Chloe: Since when?!
  Grace and Simon: Since always!
  Chloe: I'd like a second opinion.
  Everyone: Since always!
• The fact that Simon has to partake in the Spelling Bee Car, as it was an joke of Owen Dennis once stating that Simon got on the train because of a spelling bee.
  • One-One tells Simon good news that it's time for info about what's going on with Boscha...he just has to go through the Spelling Bee Car first.
• When Zenith Fantasy and the Red Lotus Trio arrive, Lexi pushes Grace and Simon to the side.
• Phos gives this zinger on Chloe:
  Chloe: (reading Boscha's stats) Age: Teenager?! But she's barely half my size!
  Phos: And yet she's twice as mature. (high-fives Simon)
• The Zenith Fantasy kids decide to don the suits of armor and dub themselves the "Zenith Rangers".

The Boiling Underworld Car

• The author notes that start the chapter points out all the stuff that has happened so far in the story compared to everything in Blossoming Trail and wonders if it got darker than the latter. After said run-down, he realizes that, no, Blossoming Trail is still the darker one.
• Alex bonds with Atticus because he used to have a pet corgi. When Atticus asks if the death of said corgi is the reason he's on the train, Alex replies that no, it was the fact that he nearly drowned. Cue a Record Needle Scratch as the rest of Zenith Fantasy ask him why he didn't reveal this sooner.
• Lucy squees in delight upon learning that they're going to get Keyblades.
