Going in Style (2017)
Go To
- The ENTIRETY of the value town robbery. ALL OF IT.
- Al immediately gets tired of waiting in the hot car and goes into the store. In the middle of the shoplifting attempt.
- Their plan is to steal supplies to make Cordon bleu. Willie then rebels and tells Joe he's gonna get a Chicken roast instead, to Joe's objections.
Joe: Stick to the plan!
- Also, the one Precision F-Strike in a PG-13 film is fulfulled by one old shopper when her mobility scooter is stolen by Joe during the getaway.
Shopper: Where the fuck is my basket?
- And Joe trying to convince Willie to get in.
Joe: Jump in the basket.
Willie: Who the hell do you think I am? E.T.?
Joe: Willie, jump in the bloody basket!
Willie: I’m not getting in no bloody basket!
- And then Al promptly gets chased by another guard for no reason.
Security guard: Halt!
Al: What are you chasing me for?
Security guard: Halt!
Al: I heard you the first time.
Security guard: Don't make me tase you!
(Al stops and promptly raises his hands)
Al: This is not an admission of guilt. I'm just tired.
- Also, this line from the store manager after they were caught.
Store Manager: You were gonna make a Cordon bleu with chicken thighs? That's a crime in of itself.
- And to end the scene off, we get this funny exchange between the three as they leave.
Al: Yeah, couple of great friends I got. You just made me an accomplice to a robbery!
Joe: We never asked you to do anything.
Al: I drive you there. I drive you back. That makes me a getaway driver.
Willie: Oh, don't flatter yourself. You drive like my grandmother, and she drove a horse and buggy.
Al: That's a good one. Just for that you can walk home.
(They get to the car. Al stops them from getting in as he gets in himself.)
Al: Don't touch my car. Don't get in the car.
Willie: You're not going to make us walk.
Al: Hell I'm not. Oh, boy. You guys are going to be great bank robbers. You just got busted robbing Value Town. Oh-ho.
(Al drives off.)
Willie: I hate when he's right.
