- Kate getting elbowed in the face as she’s cheering Shadyside on during the brawl at the pep rally, which cuts to her on the bus yelling about getting back at the Sunnyvalers.
- When Kate mentions saving up money to leave Shadyside, Josh (who has an obvious crush on her) responds with a sheepish “Take me with you?” Kate looks uncomfortable while Simon makes a plane crashing gesture to Josh.
- Simon taking a moment to play with himself while he’s alone (Josh is helping Kate in the bathroom while Deena and Sam are making out). He emerges and sees the two pairs afterwards.Simon: Did all of you go to Pound Town? (beat) Me too!
