• The Running Gag of Rainbow and Scootaloo using bricks to solve all their problems.
• Granny Smith gives a whole speech about not relying on others to do your work for you, only to then happily accept a government subsidy check.
• Rainbow goes to smash Dinkleberg's car as payback for having her van towed earlier, and Timmy's Dad stops her... to give her advice on how to do it better. The way she makes her getaway is also very comforting for him, and he takes it as proof Timmy will be safe with her.
  • Later, when Mr. Turner is about to attack Sunset due to the Dazzling's lies, Rainbow calls him out on using a wooden bat to do it, as if that's the main problem.
• Sweetie Belle calling out Rarity for claiming their family's descended from French nobility, when they're really descended from Québécois lumberjacks.
• When Crocker sees Timmy passed one of his tests, he begins what seems like his usual shtick, but it plays out a little differently:
  Crocker: This can't be? It is a B-.
  The class: (gasps)
  Crocker: -Minus. This can only be the work of-
  The class: Fairy godparents?
  Crocker: I was gonna say 'a good tutor', but since you all broke the ice-FAIRY GODPARENTS! FAIRY GODPARENTS! FAIRY GODPARENTS!
• Scootaloo stealing Timmy's hat to get him to run fast.
• Rarity explaining what a lout is: someone who is rude and disgusting. Timmy angrily denies being rude and disgusting... only to eat ice cream off the floor.
• Rarity forcing Timmy to model clothes in a way that makes Rarity look like a movie monster to Timmy.
• When Timmy mentions the Dazzlings threatening Trixie's (his crush from Dimmsdale Elementary) life, this leads Trixie (the Small Name, Big Ego magician from Canterlot High) to believe he is talking about her.
• This Who's on First? exchange between Rarity and Sunset when the former's description of a villain leads her to get a bit off track.
  Rarity: (fantasizing) Tying damsels in distress to railroad tracks, so that a dashing young man can save her and carry her off into the...sunset
  Sunset: Yeah.
  Rarity: (embarrassed) Nothing.
