  • Anthony relating the story of what Princess Diana supposedly said when she hired him (her libel lawyer) to handle her divorce case:
Anthony: I told her, "I've never done a divorce case before," and she said, "Oh, that's all right, Mr. Julius — I've never been divorced before."
  • James telling Deborah the possibilities for their legal "strategy":
James: Basically, there are 3 routes you can take. First of all, you could say Irving is... misinterpreting the offending words... However, since at one point in your book, you say Irving views himself as continuing Hitler's work, I don't think we can say he's misinterpreting anything.
Deborah: I don't think we can.
James: Nor can we take the second route, which would be to say the offending words... aren't as offensive as Irving makes out.
Deborah: Oh, we can't take that route!
    James: No, they're offensive.
Deborah: I hope so. God knows, I tried to be.
  • Deborah's reaction to Irving mocking her "Brooklyn accent": "It's Queens!"
  • Heather offering tea to Richard in the background of Deborah snapping at the team, and then to Deborah herself.
