• Doug a lot of the time.
  "A gang of crazed druggie looters could sneak up and rip open our gate with their PCP meth strength - I mean, haven't you ever played a post-apocalyptic role-playing game before?"
• The PC when told about a place that might still have bacon.
  "I'd kill for some bacon right now. Literally- I will kill a motherfucker for a piece."
• A lot of Mark's Recruitment dialogue. This includes you holding him at gunpoint and the two of you have a frank discussion about the change in the register, what pickled jalapenos does to a person, and how the business ledger just trails off in the end.
  Mark: (when you offer to let him into the shelter) Sounds good. What's the catch?
  Player Character: Because you didn't try to kill me for my shoes?
  Mark: Fair enough.
  • Also, when questioned why he didn't tell you about Ryan and Michiru right off the bat:
  Mark: "Because I didn't know if you guys had decided to take up rape as a hobby."
• A case of Black Comedy caused by a flag not triggering. One potential member of the Shelter, if not properly talked to, will kill someone who they view is against you. You hold a trial and can execute them. Problem is that due to a programming oversight their death does not trigger a flag that says they got caught. So each day their ghost would kill another person, you put their ghost on trial, and then kill their ghost. and then their ghost of ghost comes back and kills another one, etc ad nauseam.
• The Suggestion Box is a source of laughs as well. Some sample notes left by anonymous shelter members include:
  "Stop fucking talking in the bathroom. If I'm in there taking a shit, I don't want to hear people talking. Fucking quit it."
  "Mor cars plase"
• Some of the Bug comments.
  "Pepper believes that you should offer them belly rubs instead. Pepper is a wise counselor and you should always listen to her advice. Dogs should no longer get to have a say in crisis events. This has been fixed on our end."
  • On the fact zombie were not summoned by noise.
  "While bringing Freedom and Democracy to the Militia, which resulted in an all out gunfight between 30 some odd people with over two hundred rounds of ammunition fired, not one zombie that was summoned by all the noise moved from it's exit square point. You'd think the Militia HQ would be swarmed by the dozens of zombies, but nope, they're just all standing there and staring in the same direction."
  • On Davis being in the bed in the infirmary despite their being no possible way for him to lose health in-game.
  "Everybody was playing "Musical Chairs" in the Infirmary and Davis felt left out."
  • Misspellings.
  "At US83 Truck Stop, there's a lootable booth in the Taco The Town which is marked as "Taco The Time Booth.""
  • Flags not triggering.
  "Doug will stop demanding you build the watch tower every day even after you've built it."
  • Also the dogs used to be able to retrieve the car if you ran out of gas for it. This lead to fan art of the Road Warrior but with Dogmeat driving the car.
• Renee comes to you about a Wasp Nest being formed on the shelter. She asks you to get Wasp Spray to kill them. You suggest instead that you pour gas on it and light it on fire. She has to explain to why you why that would be a bad thing.
• Taking Priscilla to the Museum (really a Medieval Times knock off) that she wanted to always visit. And when you get attacked by the people inside using medieval armor and weapons?
  "Daddy was right! Museums are dangerous!"
