Light Novel
- Suzu and Ryoutarou constant surprise when Tio isn't being her perverted self.
- The Bonus Chapters at the end of Volume One are a downright barrel of laughs.
- The first has Hajime unveiling his bevy of robot arms to Yue, trying to impress her with their varied weapons and functions, only for Yue to innocently point out that he already has more practical weapons on hand at all times, so the arms are just overkill. Then Hajime discovers Oscar’s journal where he expressed his attempts to create a Robot Maid. Hajime manages to make the thing, but Yue immediately destroys it and decides to educate him on how much better a flesh and blood maid is than a robot one…
- The second has Kaori and Shizuku entering an Otaku store to buy a video game to try and make conversation with Hajime. The combination of Kaori being her usual self, a bit of suggestive imagery and a few statements taken WILDLY OUT OF CONTEXT all serve to leave numerous otaku shoppers and their equally otaku store manager collapsed while bleeding profusely.
- The third is a collection of What-Ifs where certain events played out slightly differently, featuring multiple cameos from other works. Emperor Hoelscher channels both a certain red headed Conqueror King and the magnificent swordplay of the Gotei Thirteen, Shizuku channels the Hiten Mitsurugi style, Kouki gets stuck with a certain annoying talking sword, Hajime begins channeling a certain bloodthirsty Crimson Alchemist, and Yue armed with “Forbidden Barrage ’Catadioptric’” is prophesied as the final boss.
Anime
- The Ass Shove scene and its aftermath.
- Related to this, at the end of Season 2 Tio demands him to repeat it (clearly implying she wants anal sex) as a reward for protecting Aiko-sensei. Hajime decides to take it literally and summons a spike that is much bigger than the one that he used on her in dragon mode during their first meeting, giving a Slasher Smile as Tio panics.
- Hajime's edgy attitude and snark are a good source of comedy.
- When Kaori is resurrected but materializes in the sky, she falls and screams for Hajime to catch her. He snorts in derision and moves out of the way, causing her to painfully crash. It looks like something out of Looney Tunes.
- Myu's mother Remia making passes at Hajime while Yue, Shea, Tio, and Kaori all give her a Collective Death Glare.
- Myu waking Hajime up in time for breakfast. Unfortunately he and Yue are both naked in bed and Myu has noticed Hajiime's "chubby little friend". Cue Hajime awkwardly explaining "the birds and bees" followed by Shea, Kaori, Remia walking in on them. The former two chew out Hajime and Yue for sexual deviancy and corrupting a minor while the latter remains nonchalant.
- In a filler scene in the Season 2 epilogue, when the crew makes a stop so Kaori can help a group of people, Shea, Tio, and Myu ask Yue to teach them how to use magic, but Hajime warns them not to do it. Turns out he's speaking from experience, because Yue sucks at explaining how she does magic, much to the other three's chagrin (and somehow, she expresses it with Kamen Rider Ichigo's transformation pose, implying Hajime had talked to her about Kamen Rider before). Then Kaori asks her to teach her one spell, Yue gives pretty much the same explanation... and Kaori succeeds, shocking everyone - even Hajime, who drops the gun in his hand.
- In the crossover with Arifureta ZERO, when Miledi Reisen presents herself, Myu remembers her - from Hajime stating that she was the most irritating person he had ever met. Oscar, Naiz, and Meiru crack up laughing. Then Myu also brings up Oscar's Meido fetish, and remembers how Hajime asked her never to become a siren like Meiru.
