Funny / Aharen-san wa Hakarenai

Episode 1

• Under the belief that Aharen is too scared to talk to him, Raido tries smiling. His face is the same neutral he always has, and he doesn't even realize it.
• Aharen takes Raido to a karaoke room. Her singing is so quiet that the mic can't even pick up her voice.
• Raido assumes that bone conduction allows him to hear Aharen's voice, and tells her such. This leads to a montage of Aharen repeatedly head-butting Raido every time he speaks to her.
• Raido carrying a bunch of communication tools to try and talk to Reina, along with different scenarios of his methods at work. Including telepathy, carrier pigeons, morse code, hand signs, arrow messages (featuring an arrow stuck to his school desk) and smoke signals.
• Aharen pressing her face up against a prize machine. Granted, she was actually doing it to gauge the position of a plushie she wanted, but her squished-up face is still funny to look at.
• Aharen offering her bento box to Raido, and insisting that he eat it by pressing it against his face.

Episode 2

• Aharen comes to school in tatters. Raido think that she got into a fight and imagines several delinquents on the ground with Aharen holding one up by the collar.
  • The truth is that she had something in her eye, and as a result she kept bumping into stuff on the way to school. With that cleared up, Raido gives her a bottle of eye drops... but she drops a bunch all over the rest of her face.
    Raido: Okay Aharen-san, let me do it. Before it's all gone.
• Raido comes to school with his fly down, and Aharen spends the whole day trying to keep everyone from seeing it.
  • She raises her hand to answer a math question before he can. She draws the answer along with a picture of unzipped pants on the chalk board. Raido notices nothing.
  • Aharen then unintentionally volunteers to model along with Raido during art class. Her pose is holding an apple in front of Raido's crotch.
  • At one point Raido goes into the bathroom. Aharen takes a brief sigh of relief... only to see him walk back out with his fly still down.
  • Aharen's got so used to covering up for Raido over the course of the day that the moment he speaks, she instinctively put herself in the view of his pants from the audience.
• On the way the home (with Aharen standing in from him the whole walk) Raido looks at his reflection in a window and finally notices something; that Aharen cut her hair. She then falls the ground from exhaustion and disbelief.

Episode 3

• Among the various ways to help Aharen see past a taller classmate is a trench-scope, walkie talkies, and a mirror.
