The last four episodes of season two are called Fires of Hate, Cleansing Rain, Broken Earth, and Winds of Change. All four have the element of one of the Paths specialties in the title.
Just how bad things could have gone in Calm in the Storm with the kids all being separated and unaware that the Warlock had magicked his way out of jail. Dipper was wandering the woods looking for Wendy, who was who-knows-where most of the day. Mabel was stalking Yuki while he was on his date with Pacifica, a date that eventually left town and went into the woods as well. And while she didn't realize it, when she ran past Omir Steindorf and a companion, the companion was the Warlock. After Stan and Arline tell everyone about the Warlock's escape, Arline starts training the twins non-stop, and Stan makes it a rule that no one goes anywhere alone, Dipper having realized just how lucky they had been.
