Fridge Brilliance
- Doctor Weir notes that the Sleepwalker virus seemed to affect on average whites more than blacks. This makes sense when you later learn that the effects of the virus can at least be delayed with willpower; black people at the time, especially ones attending university, would have had to fight through more hardships than white people.
- The Zudarj having slave Sectoids and mercenary Mutons makes sense if they've been picking up survivors and refugees that fled the (failed) Ethereal Ones that enslaved whole species to make their servitor warriors and try to find subjects suitable for their Avatar project.
