While the name of the company's dance Volk could simply mean "people", the name of it also seems to draw parallels to the infamous Volkisch Movement, which focused squarely on German identity enforced through the belief of ethno-nationalism.
The naming of "Volk" also parallels to the schism of the Coven, with one group lead by Markos and the other lead by Blanc.
