Fridge Brilliance:
- Kate is completely unaffected by the brainwashing effect the living dolls bring to the shadows. She doesn't have the same background as the others. She wasn't a morph.
- Emilico is quite athletic compared to the other living dolls. She's also capable of Ventriloquism. That's actually her circus skills before becoming a living doll.
- At the beginning, why can't Emilico read or write? The other living dolls have no problem with reading or writing. As a Circus Brat, reading and writing are probably unnecessary skills.
- Kate is angry when Emilico asks if she is human. After finding out Kate's background, it makes sense she doesn't like being asked if she is human. She's not even sure she is human.
- At the second incidence of clingers appearing, Shaun is capable of taking out some of the clingers bare-handed along with Ben. Makes sense. After all, Shaun can outlast John in a fistfight.
- Why does every shadow child in the Shadow House knows that John and Kate are "engaged"? John loudly talked about marriage with Kate. It wouldn't take long for the information to spread.
- Shaun's name is the anglicised version of the name Sean (or Seán) which is the Irish version of the name John... his original name before he came to the Shadows house.
