  • It may seem odd that in the original comic, Aelfyre Whitemane fell in love with humanity's literature while investigating Earth's technological project. The all-ages series has him fall in love with human-made movies (naming Friday after the title character of His Girl Friday rather than Robinson Crusoe's assistant), and that makes a certain amount of sense. However, some research shows that Project Gutenberg was started in 1971, and has likely digitized a large number of public-domain works by then. The original writers may have known about the project and likely had it in mind, since it's unlikely Whitemane would have been able to visit a library without attracting attention even in the Marvel Universe...
