Fridge Brilliance

• Before the present KND was founded by Numbuh Zero, Grandfather ruled the world. Considering how he ruled the world, the rampant distrust of the KND towards adults suddenly becomes far more justified.
• The Reveal about Numbuh 0 being Numbuh 1's father. 0 is before 1, like how a father came to the world before his son.
• The DCFDTL's often downright ridiculous levels of incompetence and stupidity up to Too Dumb to Live levels in the series becomes a case of great Fridge Brilliance when it's revealed who they REALLY are: the brainwashed KND team Sector Z. Possibly the reason they are so incompetent and stupid sometimes is that they are holding back because they are actively and/or subconsciously fighting their brainwashing!
• Considering that the DCFDTL are really brainwashed KND operatives who were brainwashed by Father himself, it's no surprise that the Delightfuls fear his wrath more than anything else. It makes sense that the ONE time in the entire series their Delightfulized selves don't speak in unison is when Father is berating them.
• There's a bit of Fridge Brilliance when it comes to Grandfather and the title Numbuh Zero. Grandfather is more or less the Anthropomorphic Personification of the fear of growing old all kids have and the negative qualities of it (thus his Rapid Aging power). On the other hand as soon as he's defeated, we find that Numbuh Zero has accepted growing up and becoming a father, reflecting Monty Uno's love of being a father and wanting to be a good one. This makes sense, once the fear of growing up has been defeated one can see the good qualities of it are worth looking forward to.

Fridge Horror

• The Reveal of Father's connection to the Uno family gets a lot darker when it sinks in that he's been knowingly and actively trying to kill his own nephew on a regular basis.
• Don't the Delightful Children have actual biological parents? Operation Z.E.R.O confirms that they're not Father's biological children, so it's up to speculation what happened to them—at best, they must be worried sick not knowing what happened to their kids, and at worst they might have willingly allowed him to make their children Delightfulized. The second option is even more likely, considering that no one's ever shown to be looking for the DCFDTL.
  • Or an even worse possibility... Father had their parents killed.
  • Sad possibility is that since it was shown that the Delightful Children were originally the operatives of Sector Z back when Numbuh 0 was still a kid. Father said that the first test of the Delightfulization chamber had a cascade overload that unleashed Eleventy-Billion Fold more power into the Sector Z operatives; chances are that it made them unable to age ever again, while their actual parents wound up possibly dying from old age.
