Kaeloo and Mr. Cat are noticeably more freaked out at the prospect of being fired than Stumpy and Quack Quack. Aside from the fact that they're both older and more mature than the other two and therefore have a better understanding of the consequences of being fired, they're also children's show characters. A children's show would be likely to hire a funny, stupid comic relief, or a talented genius, but how many kids' shows would want to hire a narcissistic, hypocritical character who likes "booty dancing" and turns into a monster to inflict violence on those around her, or a mean-spirited, alcoholic psychopath who constantly makes sex jokes?
