• The Mega Playboy may have had a hundred children, one per each of his lovers, and his male descendants may be doing the same, but that can't possibly amount for the overpopulation, so blaming the rise of the Mega Playboy for it and trying to stop his awakening may seem absurd... But there's actually two good reasons:
  • First, the Mega Playboy is a symbol against whatever measure the governments are trying to use to counter the overpopulation, and a flashback in the manga shows there's people who actually admire him. Preventing his appearance would make the government's measures more effective, at least by lessening the opposition;
  • Second, the Mega Playboy and his male descendants are Explosive Breeders: by Karin's time they can account only for a small part of the population growth, but if every male among the Mega Playboy's descendants has a hundred children they will increase their numbers exponentially.
• How did Karin manage to destroy a Spider Tank with a handgun? Considering she gives the caliber as 9mm and the DMC version of her bullets weigh 60 grams, slightly less than a .50 BMG round, that handgun of hers must be incredibly overpowered.
