Fridge Brilliance

Story-related Lore

  • Kurenai being the only Taimanin to roam around Tokyo Kingdom when the task force meets her in chapter 11 makes a lot of sense that she's doing reconnaissance inside enemy territory to hunt down Edwin Black.
  • In the 2023 Christmas event "A Holy Night of Poison", Wight is unable to mimic Noah's appearance is due to the fact that she forgot to take into account that the latter is actually an artificial spawn of Edwin Black, given that that the Wraiths themselves, like their Death Wraith counterparts, view Black as public enemy No. 1.
  • Lina sharing the same primary weapon as Asagi and Annerose, that being a standard ninja sword makes sense given that she is a fan of Taimanin Five, despite the fact while being affiliated with the Nomad, a crime syndicate that's hostile to the Taimanins.
  • Due to the fact that the Nomad ran almost half of the world's governments much like in the source material, it turns out their grip on the superpowers like the UFS, the Chinese Union, and other countries is meant to broker peace and maintain balance from a diplomatic standpoint. With Edwin Black's defeat and Momochi's information of Nomad's connections to world governments being leaked, that balance is ultimately shattered, resulting the world descending into further turmoil that could likely result in humanity fighting against each other.

Battle Arena-related Lore

  • With the exceptions of Astaroth, Annerose, Aina, Eleonor, Hebiko, Lina, Maika, Saika, Shisui, Sora, and Spinel, the Battle Arena follows an Elemental Rock-Paper-Scissors mechanic based on another character they are facing:
    • Asaginote , Murasakinote , and Sakuranote
      • Underneath her stern exterior, Murasaki is very devoted to Asagi, which is more than just simple admiration, to the point she's willing to hold back for her.
      • Sakura, being her younger sister, has made a name for herself as a seasoned Taimanin, despite having helped Asagi in multiple missions and even if she isn't noticed that well.
      • Both Sakura and Murasaki are foils to each other, not surprising they don't get along and both try to win Asagi's approval. She and Murasaki often go on missions together, to the point they are called as the duo known as "Sakumura".
    • Yukikazenote , Rinkonote , and Shiranuinote
      • Yukikaze and Rinko are childhood friends and partners-in-crime on missions, the latter also serves as the Cool Big Sis for Yukikaze.
      • Shiranui is Yukikaze's mother and is also the closest to a mother figure to Rinko as well, a veteran Taimanin herself whose skills are on par with Asagi's.
    • Asukanote , Kurenainote , and Kiraranote
      • All three are Half-Human Hybrid Taimanins: Asuka is a Cyborg whose main weapons are prosthetics, Kurenai is a half-vampire, and Kirara is an oni that can manipulate ice.
      • Both Asuka and Kurenai serve as Arch Enemies to Edwin Black, who is responsible for the deaths of their respective familes. Kirara, on the other hand, is an entirely different storyExplanation, making her an anomaly between the two.
    • Sunote , Emilynote , and Noahnote
      • All three are foreign assets to the Task Force — Su and Emily are representatives of two known superpowers, the Chinese Union and the UFS, respectively. Noah, on the other hand, being an artificial spawn of Edwin Black represents the Demon Realm, and the only known demon to end up with the team.
    • Oboronote , Ingridnote , and Felicianote
      • Oboro is the sadistic enforcer of the Nomad, Ingrid is Edwin Black's secretary and the two of them get along like oil and water. Felicia is Black's biological daughter who is just equally as insane as Oboro.
      • Black has a very close relationship with Felicia, while his relationship to Ingrid leans more on the professional aspect, despite her own growing feelings for him.
    • Tokikonote , Shizurunote , and Rinnote
      • Both three are faculty members in Gosha Academy in addition to being active Taimanins — Shizuru has two doctorate degrees, fluent in six different languages, and an expert in multiple fields. Tokiko is known for her photographic memory and clairvoyance due to being able to process information from books or computers using her ninja arts. Rin is a substitute teacher who teaches field training classes when not assigned in a mission.

Intimacy Episodes

  • Why does Torajiro insist on taking a bath with Fuuma in her episode, and then Ichirota would join them soon after? Since Torajiro is a feline beastman, a weretiger to be exact, and her brother Ichirota being a werewolf, this gives the impression of pet animals bathing together with their owners. Cats should be given baths once every 4-6 weeks, depending on how often they groom themselves, and the environment they're usually in. If the cat is more outdoorsy and soils itself while playing, it's a good idea to help with the grooming process as they alone won't be able to properly get cleaned. Dogs on the other hand, need a bath every one to three months to minimize odor and oil buildup, but this can vary depending on certain factors.

Fridge Horror

  • As if instigating a Zombie Apocalypse wasn't enough, the simple fact that Momochi can upload a mere piece of information about the Demon Realm, Nomad, and world governments bending the knee to demons raises a cause for alarm. Not helped by Momochi's Fantastic Racism towards demons who corrupt mankind, he's more than willing to attempt genocide by tricking humanity and demonkind into setting up their own self-destruction.
  • Toyo's daughter Nagi joining with the Task Force also comes with her having a target painted on her back by the remnants of her father's inner circle. She basically became a nukenin to her own father's organization. Even though Kotaro welcomed her with open arms, this will not stop her father's soldiers from coming after her when going outside of Gosha.
  • The Yukikaze and Murasaki the player fight in Chapter 21 being clones bring a foreboding implication that whoever created them are possibly ordered to sabotage the Task Force. Which probably confirms Asagi's insinuation to the UFS congrrssman, as well as Yamamoto's suspicions of the UFS. As a result, the real Yukikaze and Murasaki went into hiding while Rinko and Sakura had to work in clearing their names.
    • Now imagine yourself in Shiranui's shoes: learning of your daughter going missing in action, and then find out that the one attacking a military base turning out to be a cyborg doppelganger. It's like Taimanin Yukikaze in reverse, but this time it's Yukikaze who ends up missing and Shiranui has to go and find her daughter.
    • One would be left to wonder if the playable Yukikaze in the game is actually the same clone acting as a Manchurian Agent for another evil organization. Her page in the Taimanin Wiki even suggests as such.
