Adam's many personalities.
Splitting Adam is a 2015 live-action made-for-TV Nickelodeon movie starring Henry Danger's Jace Norman as Adam Baker and his clones, The Thundermans' Jack Griffo as Vance Hansum the lifeguard, 100 Things to Do Before High School's Isabela Moner as Lori Collins, and School of Rock's Tony Cavalero as Uncle Mitch.

15-year-old Adam Baker has a jam-packed summer schedule. Between juggling multiple jobs, babysitting his sister and helping Uncle Magic Mitch perfect his magic act, he barely has a moment to sleep, let alone time to pursue his dream girl, Lori. After stumbling across a strange tanning bed his Uncle brings home, Adam accidentally clones himself and finds the answer to all his problems- creating multiple clones of himself using the tanning machine. The first clone was created by accident when Adam fell in the tanning/cloning machine after being startled by his younger sister. The clone or Adam 2 was the responsible and smart one. Then there's Winston, Party Boy Adam, Sensitive Adam, and Perfect Adam. At first Adam enjoyed using the clones for his schedule. But then Adam 2 told original Adam if the clones weren't removed soon, they would be erased for existence including the real Adam.

Not to be confused with the band of the same name.

Splitting Tropes:

  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: The reason why Adam created Perfect Adam was to rival with Vance's handsomeness and heroic deeds.
  • Clones Are People, Too: The Adam clones all have different personalities, and show emotion for Adam and the people close to him.
  • Decoy Antagonist: Towards the beginning of the film it looked like Vance would be the main villain, but it was actually Pecfect Adam (or Adam #6)
  • Evil Doppelgänger: Perfect Adam turns out to be this.
  • Or Was It a Dream?: Even though the events of the film were supposedly a dream, the cloning machine, and pizza slice on the roof were still there indicating the events may have actually happened.
