My Little Sister is an Italian Horror Movie by Maurizio and Roberto del Piccolo.
Tom (Mattia Rosellini) and Sheila (Holli Dillon) are hiking through the woods to meet up with their friends at a campsite. On the way, they're met with a man named Ben (David White) who tells them to leave because the woods are inhabited by a killer known as "The Little Sister". They ignore him and press on to the campsite where their friends are supposed to be... only to find they aren't there. They decide to spend the night there anyway...
And find out just what happened to them.
The film was released on April 30th, 2016.
My Little Sister contains examples of:
- Bait-and-Switch: At one point, a shot of Tom and Sheila in the woods has a leg with an axe next to it in the foreground, implying it to be Little Sister. Tom and Sheila look in his direction... and it's a man who tells them to leave the woods.
- Blood from the Mouth: Ben has blood come from his mouth when Little Sister attacks him from behind.
- Cold-Blooded Torture: The Little Sister partakes of this in the prologue.
- Don't Go in the Woods: Not unless you want Little Sister to take you home, torture you, cut off your face, and kill you.
- Downer Ending: The woman in white, who is revealed to be Igor/Little Sister's mother, tricks Sheila into drinking acid, killing her.
- Facial Horror:
- In the movie prologue, the Little Sister cuts James' face off.
- In The Reveal, we see Igor's father peeling flesh off his face after he splashes acid in it.
- Harbinger of Impending Doom: Ben serves this purpose, telling Tom and Sheila to leave the woods, and about Little Sister.
- Malevolent Masked Men: The titular little sister wears a mask that looks like slabs of flesh all stitched together.
- Mummies at the Dinner Table: Little Sister keeps his dad's dead body in his house, either having it watch home videos on his TV, or trying to feed it with each new face he puts on it.
- Non-Indicative Name: The Little Sister is a man.
- Over-the-Shoulder Carry: Tom briefly does this with Sheila at the start of the movie.
- The Reveal: The full home video reveals that Igor's sister retaliated for a prank her dad and brother pulled on her by tricking the father into pouring acid on his face. Igor killed her in response after releasing her mother, who is the woman in white wandering about the woods.
- Shear Menace: Little Sister has Sheila, who is disguised as her father, kill Nadine with a pair of scissors.
- Shovel Strike: Sheila knocks Little Sister unconscious with a shovel.
- Slipped the Ropes: Nadine manages to slip the ropes off her wrists with some effort in the prologue.
- Stock Scream: In the prologue, the woman that the Little Sister takes a lawn edger to lets out a stock woman's scream.
