- Call-Back: Lucky crashes to the world of the Lupinrangers and Patrangers from space, just like he did in his series's first and last episodes.
- The Cameo: Misao Mondo, the Sixth Ranger from Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger, joins in with the Kyurangers, Lupinrangers and Patrangers.
- In the Name of the Moon: For the Vs. movie, both teams give their roll call in succession. In this case, the current team (Lupinranger) goes first, plus the other current team (Patranger + Patren X), followed by the previous team (Kyuranger), and the previous previous Sixth Ranger (Zyuoh The World).
- Transformation Sequence: The traditional combined sequence is downplayed here; only the three Red Rangers (excluding Houou Soldier) are featured. Considering they have to squeeze a total of 20 Rangers transforming from 4 different teams, it was probably the best direction to take.
- Versus Title: The entire title has two "versus"es between the Sentai teams. For the Lupinrangers and Patrangers', it's natural, but the Kyurangers' is one that includes a versus. However, the three teams do not fight one another and some of their members work together to stop Don Arkage.
