  • Borrowed Catchphrase: A cross-franchise example; Tyramigo uses Cure Grace’s catchphrase, "I feel so alive!" during the movie. Junko Kōmuranote  specifically inserted this line into the script as a reference when she was informed that the Super Sentai Movie Party double feature would end in a Pretty Cure collaboration.
  • Call-Back: It's mentioned in episode 33 that the Patrangers cannot abide by publicly tolerating ANY non sanctioned team thief or otherwise since as Global Police they cannot condone vigilantes. This means that they're not initially any more welcoming or trusting of the Ryusoulgers than they were the Lupinrangers despite the Ryusoulgers not being thieves and being more openly heroic since they're still essentially a bunch of tribal vigilantes walking around with dangerous weapons and powers without supervision. The Kyurangers seemingly got a pass because they were from another universe and just trying to get back to it, but the Ryusoulgers operating in the Patrangers’ jurisdiction quickly get arrested by Keiichiro. Noël of course is far more willing to cooperate with the members he meets up with given his nature and position while Tsukasa gives Canalo a pass because he assisted her and was cooperative.
  • Canon Immigrant: The Griffon Minosaur first appeared as a monster on a stageshow early in the show's run, but shows in the show proper in Ryusoulger VS Lupinranger VS Patranger.
  • Friendly Enemy: This is basically the relationship between the two teams post show. The Patrangers despite their bluster mostly just leave the Lupinrangers alone, to the point where when Tsukasa runs into Touma in his new shop and he immediately assumes he's going to have to flee she has no interest in reporting him (and if anything is more annoyed he's not keeping in touch with his fiance than anything else) and immediately calls a truce once the Minosaur shows up. By the end they're having a cookout with neither side bothering with hostility.
  • Let's You and Him Fight: Just barely averted. Kairi is about to throw down with Koh over his sword but finds out at the last second it's not a piece of the collection and just leaves it be.
  • No-Sell: Ganima is immune to the draining of his negative emotions.
  • One-Word Vocabulary: Griffon Minosaur - Treasure!note
  • Power Copying: Much like the Gokaigers before them, Ryusoul Red, Blue, and Pink use Lupinranger RyuSouls to transform into their Lupinranger counterparts, with Pink becoming Yellow. The reason Noël created them is so that they can generate copies of the Dial Fighters, giving them enough to open all of Ganima’s safes.
  • Roger Rabbit Effect: The ending dance sequence features the Rangers in live action dancing alongside the Pretty Cures, rendered in CGI.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Since the Lupinrangers had their identities exposed they all need to live under fake names and apart from each other except for when they go on missions with Kairi living in an abandoned house and Touma running his own shop. Umika, who was a minor and thus not publicly revealed is able to live the most normal life and attend school although she too uses a fake name. It's also mentioned that despite them bringing their loved ones back, they have no contact with them because that would be the first place they'd be spotted, with Tsukasa mentioning Touma hasn't contacted Aya in months. Even then it's implied the only reason they haven't been tracked down yet is because the Patrangers are deliberately not bothering to. On the Ryusoulgers side, showing up near the Patrangers headquarters waving around swords quickly gets them initially arrested by the Patrangers since the only other Sentai they were aware of were thieves and the Ryusoulgers were clearly walking around publicly armed.
