Galactic Battles is an American Massive Multiplayer Crossover Fan Film series directed by Calvin Romeyn and uploaded on their youtube channel.

Due to a combination of slipspace, warp, and hyperdrive malfunctions, the boundaries of space, time, and dimension are torn open. It brings the ships and crew of the USS Enterprise, UNSC Pillar of Autumn, SR-2 Normandy, and Millennium Falcon together to an alternate universe. After an anxious standoff and uncertainty, they make contact with each other and ease tensions. Agreeing to work together to try and figure out what's going on, they suddenly come under attack by the Galactic Empire, Klingon Empire, Section 31, Covenant, and Reapers...

Using a mix of CGI and suited actors, the fan film received outstanding positive reactions for keeping everyone in-character and Rule of Cool being in full effect. It can be found here.

Galactic Battles provides examples of:

  • Applied Phlebotinum: The heroes use the Enterprise's stores of Red Matter, beamed to the Normandy and flown to the surface by Master Chief, to destroy the Death Star.
  • Behind the Black: On two separate occasions, people miss entire fleets of Star Destroyers in front of them until they've nearly collided with them.
  • Big Damn Heroes: After the Enterprise gets blindsided by a Star Destroyer with more moving in, the Falcon and Normandy zoom in to keep the TIE fighters off it while the Pillar of Autumn moves in to broadside the Imperial destroyer. It damages the Destroyer enough for them to escape.
  • The Cavalry: Just as the Death Star shows up alongside multiple Empire, Klingon, and Covenant Cruisers with more Reapers and the heroes need backup, multiple frigates, carriers, and destroyers from their factions come charging in.
  • Cutting the Knot: As opposed to trying to find and hit the thermal exhaust port on the newly arrived Death Star, the heroes opt to bomb it with black-hole-creating Red Matter, which the station has no defense against.
  • Death by Irony: The Death Star, notorious for being able to blow up planets, is destroyed via being consumed by a black hole, courtesy of the Red Matter.
  • Evil Is One Big, Happy Family: With the notable exception of the Reapers, the enemy factions instantly start working together without a word.
  • Evil vs. Evil: Notably, the Reapers are the only villain faction not to join the Villain Team-Up and attack both sides during the final battle. The Death Star makes itself known by obliterating several of them.
  • Friend or Foe?: When the four hero's ships all end up in the same place, they are understandably wary and confused about each other. Captain Kirk hails each ship several times, espousing he means no harm. Commander Shepard, Commander Keyes, and Han Solo respond and things simmer down.
  • Here We Go Again!: Kirk's response to the whole affair is to gripe about alternate timelines, likely thinking back to Prime Spock and the events of his own movies.
Kirk: Alternate timelines, huh? You know how much I love those.
  • Hero Killer: The USS Vengeance destroys the Pillar of Autumn with its opening salvo on the space station where the good guys are docked.
  • Let's You and Him Fight: Refreshingly averted. While understandably confused by each other and where they are, the heroes never fire a shot at each other or threaten to. And once the enemy does appear, they instantly agree to work together.
  • Nice Job Fixing It, Villain: When the Enterprise is taking a beating from Reapers, the ship is saved by the Death Star, of all things. The Reapers were attacking other ships in the Villain Team-Up; however, the crew of the Death Star did not need to destroy the Reapers when they were attacking the Enterprise. As a result of the Death Star's ill-timed attack, the crew of the Enterprise survives and uses the Red Matter they were carrying to destroy the Death Star and the rest of the assembled villain fleet.
  • Sacrificial Lion: The Pillar of Autumn was destroyed with almost all hands on board when the enemy fleet surprises the heroes at the hanger. Commander Keyes, Cortana, and Master Chief survive, being off at the time and rejoining the battle after being welcomed aboard the Normandy by Commander Shepard. On the enemy faction side the USS Vengeance is the first to fall when it gets double-teamed by the Reapers and the USS Enterprise.
  • Standard Starship Scuffle: The Pillar of Autumn and the Imperial Star Destroyer broadside each other when the former comes to the Enterprise's rescue.
  • The Stinger: The post-credit scene reveals that the whole space-time anomaly has been caused by the Doctor tinkering with the TARDIS.
  • Tactical Withdrawal: R2-D2, translated by Cortana and EDI, finds a safer spot for the heroes to get their bearings. The Enterprise and Falcon go into warp to jump to it while the Pillar of Autumn uses slipspace with the Normandy tagging along.
  • Translator Buddy: Cortana and EDI can understand R2-D2's beeps and translate for the cast.
  • Villain Team-Up: The villain groups all team up with the exception of the Reapers, who are their own faction in the battle.
