Fack ju Göhte (Suck Me Shakespeer) is a 2013 German comedy following ex-con Zeki Müller trying to retrieve the money he stole during the bank robbery that landed him in prison. Because his best friend hid it in a construction site which has now become the gymnasium of a school, he takes on a job as a teacher to gain access.

The film has two sequels - Fack ju Goethe 2 (2015) and Fack ju Goethe 3 (2017). All three performed incredibly well at the box office, becoming some of Germany's highest grossing films.

Examples:

  • All Girls Want Bad Boys: Most female characters show romantic or sexual interest in Zeki.
  • Apathetic Teacher: What Zeki starts out as when he is first hired. Since he's just there to retrieve the money he stole, he doesn't care about the job, and is rather annoyed that he has to do it at all.
  • Cool Teacher: At the end of the film, Zeki has grown to care about the students and his job as a teacher. Though he uses unconventional methods, he finds ways to make the students care about school and their futures and encourages them to participate in extracurricular activities.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Both Zeki and Lisi are orphans. Additionally, Zeki frequently was rejected by foster families due to being a troublemaker.
  • Eskimos Aren't Real: Inverted. Daniel believes that Avatar's Pandora is a real country, and when told he's wrong, argues that it couldn't have been made up because the movie is in 3D.
  • Grammar Nazi: Lisi.
  • Hollywood Autism: Etienne, an autistic student introduced in the second film.
  • Hooker with a Heart of Gold: Zeki's best friend Charie, who works at a stripclub.
  • Hot Teacher: Zeki, undeniably.
  • Prank Gone Too Far: Arguably all of the pranks the students pull, since they're never designed to make the person who is being targeted laugh.
  • Sequel Goes Foreign: Most of the second movie takes place in Thailand.
  • Shirtless Scene: Zeki has a few of those.
  • Teens Are Monsters: The students at the beginning of the movie. Their behaviour has driven one of their teachers to attempt suicide more than once.
  • Ultimate Job Security: Zeki does several things that should normally get him fired on the spot, in some cases even arrested. A few of them he manages to keep a secret, but with most it is improbable, if not impossible, that the principal wouldn't have been aware; yet he is never punished. At the end of the first film, it's revealed that he falsified documents to get the job, because he doesn't actually have the necessary qualifications. Instead of alerting the police, the principal renews his contract.
