Man Glaubt Nur Was Man Glauben Will by Fyrie (Contains mild slash.)

  • Recommended by Fenro.
  • Status: Complete
  • Pairing(s): Der Tod/Luigi
  • Synopsis: In his prison cell, a dozen years after his crime, Luigi Lucheni has an unexpected visitor.
  • Comments: This story gives an in-depth view on Luigi Lucheni's thought process. It also has a Der Tod that is less than nice. Just as he should be. Overall a very intriguing fic. This takes place post musical.
    • Camsci: I strongly second this. Fyrie is a very gifted author and does wonderful characterization. Especially Death is very well done, both scary and seductive. A very enjoyable read.

Ich Brauch Dich by Surrender (Contains mild slash.)

  • Recommended by Fenro.
  • Status: Complete
  • Pairing(s): Der Tod/Rudolf
  • Synopsis: After a second encounter with a mysterious figure from his past, Rudolf finds himself ensnared in a dangerous and irrevocable obsession with Death.
  • Comments: This story retells the life of Prince Rudolf from his POV.
    • Camsci: Definitely seconded! The careful, detailed descriptions and elegant phrasing really draw you in and you can relate to Rudolph amazingly well. His obsession with Death and his growing passion and inability to cope with life are wonderfully fleshed out and the fic is full of subtle eroticism without any actual sex.

Der Verräterische Walze by Perfume

  • Recommended by Fenro.
  • Status: Complete
  • Pairing(s): Der Tod/Elisabeth
  • Synopsis: Elisabeth and Death meet once more will desire play a part in their game? Or is it simply a treacherous waltz for them to share until the end of time?
  • Comments: Takes place after Elisabeth's alliance with Hungary.
    • Farrowe: An interesting, erotic interpretation of Wenn ich tanzen will, but Death's kiss is treated questionably.
