You Will Be Worse is a Crossover Fan Fic and Fusion Fic between Doom (2016) and Hazbin Hotel, as well as its spin-off Helluva Boss, written by Lord_Senor_Slow_Mo. The story follows Doomguy as he tries to survive in the apocalypse as the forces of Hell invades. This includes characters from Hazbin Hotel such as Alastor, so far the main antagonist of the story. So far, the story has 22 chapters and counting, with the author updating regularly on Archive Of Our Own.

You Will Be Worse contains examples of:

• Adaptational Villainy: Not to say he was heroic in the show, but Alastor's psychotic tendencies are amplified here as one of the first things he does back on Earth is kill several churchgoers, including children. Later on he ends up burning down Doomguy's house and brutally murders Daisy.
• Badass Family: Doomguy's family line from his father to his grandfather have fought the forces of evil, his grandfather B.J. Blazkowicz having fought the Nazis in World War 2, and his father Billy "Keen" Blaze being an accomplished astronaut before his disappearance, It's implied that he's busy fighting off alien threats even into the current plot, despite his disappearance years before.
• Badass Normal: Doomguy is a regular marine, trained in the military. Despite this, he manages to overcome countless demons, including several Overlords, long before he got his upgrade from The Seraphim.
• Berserk Button: For Doomguy, demons are the easier way for him to go into rage mode.
• Break the Cutie: It's clear from the first intermission chapter that Charlie is deeply heartbroken by the invasion of Earth; made worse is her learning about Alastor's massacre.
• Enemy Mine: Doomguy makes a truce with Sir Pentious due to their shared hatred of and desire to take down Alastor.
• From Nobody to Nightmare: Doomguy was just a simple marine, trying to live as peaceful a life as he could with his rabbit Daisy. Due to the legions of Hell invading Earth, he became the single greatest threat they have ever faced
• Gorn: Pretty much expected given the two sources materials.
• Heroic RRoD: Running on nothing but anger, rage, and adrenaline for well over two full days, with no sleep in between suffering mental and physical trauma the entire time, would cause anyone to lose consciousness, badass demon slayer or not.
• Hero of Another Story: B.J. Blazkowicz takes the fight across Europe fighting off the demonic hordes, consisting of demon Nazis.
• Killed Off for Real: Part of the Seraphim's blessing grants it's wielder this ability, ensuring that any and all demons they kill don't come back.
• One-Man Army: Doomguy is practically unstoppable when facing the hordes of Hell. Only Alastor was any real challenge to him, having managed to knock him out for a short time, though that was due to him being caught off guard.
• Roaring Rampage of Revenge: After Alastor kills Daisy, Doomguy switches from determined to stop the invasion to single mindedly tracking down Alastor and killing him.
• Suddenly Shouting: The Seraphim speaks only in capital letters, and doesn't so much speak as he warps reality to make his words known.
• The Cavalry: Once The Seraphim arrives on Earth, other Slayers arrive as well. Fighting off and killing demons across the entire world, providing much needed relief to the rapidly lowering numbers of surviving humans.
• The Dreaded: Alastor and the Overlords are naturally feared throughout both Hell and Earth for their actions
  • The Seraphim is likely the most feared creature in the story, as his mere presence destroys anything unholy, along with the true scope of his powers being unknown.
    • Lotus, the Wretch, also known as The Merchant, has existed in Hell since Lucifer first arrived, as a backup plan by Heaven in case Lucifer didn't punish the sinners. Lotus's powers warp reality itself, and he has been stated to have evaded a furious Lucifer for an entire week, and was the one to end Alastor's rampage when he first entered Hell.
• Virtual Ghost: Hayden, after being mortally wounded by the Cyberdemon, is uploaded into Doomguy's suit as an A.I. By the epilogue, he’s since been uploaded onto Doomguy's fortress.
• Worthy Opponent: What Cherri Bomb, and later Alastor, see Doomguy as. The former even goes on to cheer for Doomguy whenever she sees a televised version of his fights
• Would Hit a Girl: Let it not be said that Doomguy won't hesitate to kick a women's butt when it's called for. Cherri Bomb and Velvet learn the very hard way.
