You are no Demon
is a One Piece fanfiction written by Pen-Woman.
Zoro has always been in love with Luffy (who's female in this story) since the first time he met her, but never had the courage to confess her his feelings. Sadly, one day, Luffy get shot by a Marine Captain and Zoro goes in a Roaring Rampage of Revenge for the supposed death of his beloved captain.
This fanfiction contains examples of:
- All Girls Want Bad Boys: Downplayed. Zoro may be brash and cold but the true reason Luffy loves him are his selflessness, his courage and his loyalty.
- Asshole Victim: Zoro became a literally demon when Luffy was fatally wound by a Jerkass of a Marine Captain.
- Battle Couple: Implied with Franky and Robin.
- Berserk Button: Exaggerated. Zoro doesn't take it kindly at all when someone tries to hurt Luffy.
- Brooding Boy, Gentle Girl: Stoic, cynical and cold-hearted Zoro is madly in love with sweet, optimistic and innocent Luffy.
- Bruiser with a Soft Center: Zoro may seem to be an extremely ruthless warrior, but he's extremely sweet towards Luffy.
- Dirty Coward: The Marine soldiers had the guts to abandon the Straw Hat Crew to Zoro's homicidal fury.
- Averted with Usopp who, despite his fearful nature, put on a brave face to save a wounded Luffy from the battlefield and from Zoro's Roaring Rampage of Revenge.
- Jerkass: The Marines captain who almost killed Luffy.
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold: Exaggerated in this story. Zoro, during his demon phase, became a ruthless and cruel fighter, willing to hurt even his own crewmates, but when Luffy, who was miraculously cured by Chopper, arrived in the nick of time to stop his rage, his heart melt and became as gentle as a lamb.
- Insecure Love Interest: Zoro is afraid that Luffy won't return his feelings because she would think that he wants to jeopardize their friendship.
- Karma Houdini: The Marine captain who almost killed Luffy gets his head cut off by Zoro and his body is thrown into the sea like if it was rubbish.
- Love Redeems: When Luffy was saved by Chopper and hugged Zoro when he was about to kill Sanji, Franky, Robin and Brook, the green-haired swordsman was freed from his inner demon and cried with joy for his captain's return.
- Not So Stoic: Exaggerated. Zoro became extremely traumatized when Luffy was shot and his inner demone unleashed all of the fury he was trying to control inside himself.
- Official Couple: At the end of the story, Luffy returns Zoro's feeling and becomes his girlfriend.
- Roaring Rampage of Revenge: The main reason of Zoro's fury was to avenge Luffy's death.
- Ship Tease: It seems that, because of their interactions, Franky and Robin may have feelings for each other.
- Single Woman Seeks Good Man: Downplayed. Zoro may not be the kindest person of the planet, but when he shows Luffy his Hidden Heart of Gold, she falls in love with him.
- Sugar-and-Ice Personality: Despite his apparently cold nature, Zoro has a huge soft spot for Luffy.
- Superpowered Evil Side: Demon!Zoro is extremely ruthless and cruel and was willing to hurt his own crewmates.
- Yandere: Zoro is extremely protective of Luffy and can become extremely murderous when someone tries to hurt her.
