In the aftermath of a skirmish with the IMC, the 5th Fleet of the Frontier Militia finds themselves warped out of their own galaxy and into another one. A galaxy far, far away...

But war seems to be inevitable no matter where they go. Commander Elyse will work to make sure that her people prevail in this new environment. After all, they have Titans on their side, but will they be enough to survive?

Titanomachy is a Titanfall/Star Wars: The Clone Wars crossover fanfic written by TheLandMaster which sees a fleet of the Frontier Militia winding up in the Star Wars galaxy and fighting alongside the Galactic Republic in the Clone Wars.

Can be found here on Fanfiction Dot Net, here on Spacebattles Dot Com, and here on Archive of Our Own.

Titanomachy provides examples of:

  • Adaptational Badass: Due to drawing more from his Clone Wars characterization, Grievous is shown as a significantly more dangerous threat to the heroes, with Anakin, APOLLO and PALLAS barely surviving the one encounter with the general and spending the rest of the time on the run from him.
  • Aliens Speaking English: When members of the 5th Fleet hear an message from the Republic Envoy to the Toydarian Royal Delegation, they're shocked to see that they can understand what people from the new galaxy are saying.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: NYX is the most cheerful and upbeat member of Golem, more than once letting out jokes and snark even during the mission. She also brutally executes Gha Nachkt while he's injured and on the floor, and planted a thermite charge on R3-S6 out of suspicion that she used to melt the astromech down when his betrayal became clear.
  • The Big Guy: Of the Golem Unit, PALLAS is the largest as well as the deadliest thanks to his position as the team's weapons expert, carrying the most firepower. Contrasting the typical stereotype of this trope, he's actually an intelligent, introspective Warrior Poet.
  • Char Clone: One of the captains of the 5th fleet, Azrael Durandal, with his attire and mannerisms being similar to that of another Char Clone, Full Frontal.
  • Combat Medic: Harper is a skilled fighter and serves as a field doctor, as seen in Chapter 3 when helping a Clone tend to his wounds.
  • Curb-Stomp Battle: Yoda easily lays waste to the droid attack force in Chapter 3. The one-sided "fight" even gets lampshaded.
Natalia: …So, you... Think he needs any help? [sees droid parts fly over the horizon] Any at all?
Jek: You tend to get used to it.
  • Emergency Temporal Shift: The Phase Rewind Boost from Titanfall 2 is present in-story, and it saves APOLLO's life before Grievous can strike him down while the Pilot was pinned to the floor by rewinding him through time back to his starting point. Just as in-game, however, it does not repair the damage to his body.
  • Feel No Pain: Simulacrums, being robot bodies with human minds transplanted into them, can't feel pain. This proves to be a blessing when Grievous slams APOLLO into the floor hard enough for both it and his body to crack: while he does take damage, the lack of feeling lets the Golem leader quickly recover.
  • First Contact: The story is this for the 5th Fleet, as their one-way trip to the Star Wars galaxy has them encountering non-human extraterrestrial life for the first time in their lives.
  • Frontline General: Commander Elyse is the leader of the 5th Fleet and is more than willing to engage in frontline combat alongside her troops.
  • In Spite of a Nail: Chapter 4 foreshadows and gives away that despite the 5th Fleet's sudden appearance in the Clone Wars, the Galactic Empire will still rise and the Republic will fall. Word of God confirms that while the Empire's rise is inevitable, how it will happen will be rather different.
  • Hard Light: Pilots often use barriers of them for defense. Natalia and the Spectres deployed by Golem Team use the A-Wall from the games, while PALLAS has access to both that and an arm-mounted one akin to the Shield Captains from the second game. They are shown to be able to take a significant amount of punishment, though Grievous is strong enough to crack them when putting his full strength into the blow.
  • Implacable Man: Grievous mops the floor with Anakin, APOLLO, and PALLAS, forcing all of them to run like hell.
  • It's All My Fault: When announcing to the 5th Fleet about their current situation, Commander Elyse takes full responsibility for all of them being trapped in another galaxy with no hope of returning home.
  • A Mother to Her Men: Commander Elyse is shown to care for the soldiers under her command and even acts like a Team Mom at points.
  • No Kill like Overkill: NYX uses a thermite explosive to destroy R3-S6, severely damage two Magna Guards and fatally injury Gha Nackht, before coldly emptying an entire Mozambique magazine into the Trandoshan.
  • Outside-Context Problem: The 5th Fleet and its members are this to the Force. Since they come from an entirely different galaxy outside of the Force, while the Force surrounds them, it does not reside in them, meaning that the Force doesn't see them as alive.
  • Tele-Frag: Weaponized by Pilots using Phase Shift, and demonstrated by PHOBOS and DEIMOS: by Phase-Shifting and then re-shifting with their arms through the torso of a pair of Magna Guards assigned to watch them, the twins destroy the droids' torso when they return to real space.
  • The Quiet One: According to APOLLO, PALLAS rarely ever speaks. When he does speak, it gets everyone's attention very quickly.
  • Standardized Leader: APOLLO, the leader of the Golem Unit, fits the typical leadership archetype. To further exemplify this, his Simulacrum body is described as being rather plain and practical compared to the more diverse members of his unit.
  • You Can't Go Home Again: As Shatterglass explains, being struck by the IMC Ark weapon mid-jump overcharged their jump-drives to the point where they were knocked out of their own galaxy and into unknown space, making any hope of returning to the Milky Way galaxy an impossibility.
