The Owl Falls
is an AU crossover between The Owl House and Gravity Falls, in which a version of the titular town of the latter exists in the Boiling Isles, following witch versions of Dipper and Mabel post-Weirdmageddon.
- Adaptational Species Change:
- The Pines and the other residents of Gravity Falls are witches in this AU.
- Waddles goes from a mundane pig to a Palisman.
- Brought Down to Badass: Ford has spent decades surviving in other dimensions, but some of them were too unstable for him to use magic in them, so his magical ability atrophied over time from lack of use, and he's currently trying to relearn it.
- Commonality Connection: Eda and Stan hit off almost as soon as they meet due to being Con Artists that hate the Coven system and are a Jerk with a Heart of Gold.
- Fusion Fic: The story combines the worlds of The Owl House and Gravity Falls, with the latter location becoming a town near the Knee that rejects Belos and his Coven system.
- Hero of Another Story: The story takes place after this AU's version of Weirdmageddon, with the witchy Pines having beaten Bill.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero: Dipper releasing a Gremloblin into his and Mabel's former school ruined it and forced them to transfer to Hexside.
- Noodle Incident: Reportedly, Belos himself once tried to force the residents of Gravity Falls to get sigils, only to fail and wake up miles from the town with no memories of what happened and anything valuable he had stolen, just like what happened with everyone else he'd sent.
- The Red Mage: Since the Gravity Falls residents all reject the Coven system, they all tend to use multiple types of magic. For instance, making potions runs in the Pines family, but Mabel also uses Healing and Beastkeeping magic, while Dipper uses Oracle and Illusion magic.
