Teachers Outside of the Classroom is a The Ghost and Molly McGee One-Shot Fic by roofpigmu where Libby asks her history teacher for an interview about her personal life for the school newspaper. However, Libby seems to have an ulterior motive. This fanfic story precedes An Unpleasant Surprise in the continuity.

  • Title Drop: Libby does this near the beginning of the story.
    Libby: I was thinking about doing a series where I interview the teachers of Brighton Middle School to find out what their lives are like outside of school. I’m calling it "Teachers Outside of the Classroom".
  • Wham Line: Libby interview Mrs. Roop for the class paper. When she asks about how she asked out her wife, Libby reveals her accidently gives away her true intentions about wanting to talk to her history.
    Libby: That doesn’t mean anything. What you considered flirty looks or comments, she could’ve interpreted as friendly glances or banter. Plus, if she rejected you then things might’ve become awkward between you two and it would’ve ruined your friendship. You took a pretty big risk just assuming that she shared the same feelings as you.
    Mrs. Roop: Perhaps, but hey, what’s a romantic endeavor without a little risk?
    Libby: But I don’t like taking risks!
