What If… V dated Blue Moon?
- Bodyguard Crush: Blue Moon initially hires him to guard her as she investigates her stalker, and then she hires him again and again...
- Contrived Coincidence: To the surprise of everyone, the degradation in V's brain from Johnny's engram is actually regressed and the wound starts to heal.
The One Exception
- Actual Pacifist: As a Unification War veteran, V knows how to fight, but after killing his turned-coat squad-mate, he can't stomach it anymore.
- Defrosting Ice Queen: Kiwi slowly becomes more open and social with the other crew members throughout the story from her relationship with V.
- Dies Differently in Adaptation: In this story, Maine, who is already on the verge of his Cyberware limit and had his Cyberpsycho episode, sacrifices himself as bait for Adam Smasher as the rest of the crew flees while wearing the cyberskeleton.
