is an AU of The Owl House in which a failed attempt to create a new Portal Door ends up dragging Luz and Camila to the Isles.
- For Want Of A Nail: Luz and Camila end up in the Isles because they were having a mother-daughter day when the Portal Door malfunction sucked them in.
- Parents as People: Camila loves Luz and wants the best for her, but she's unable to figure out a good solution to her bullying issue since homeschooling is impossible and she doesn't want to send her to a boarding school.
- Portal Door: The story starts because Belos is trying to create a new portal door, and while it fails it drags Camila and Luz to the Isles.
- We Hardly Knew Ye: Kroenen, the witch helping Belos recreate the Portal Door, is killed by its malfunction after having only a few lines.
