In that time, Light's champion has failed due to the machinations of Salem and humanity's contentious nature. Perhaps it's time the God of Darkness took a crack at recruiting an emissary. And in a world of unrelenting strife and horror, who better, then a person, who no matter what walls are put in front of them, keeps moving forward.
Thus, is the premise for A New Path (officially Attack on Titan: A New Path) a crossover between RWBY and Attack on Titan by The Court of Talons
and co-written by The Avenging Titan. Starting with Eren Yeager being sent by the Brother of Darkness to Remnant, to seemingly put a stop to Salem. While on his mission, he meets faces both new and old. The story can be found here on Fanfiction.net and here on Archive of Our Own.

- Adaptational Heroism: Thanks to being befriended by Eren and later rescued by him from The Glass Unicorn, Cinder never becomes Salem's Maiden.
- Thanks to his dad being killed when he was young, Mercury doesn't become a heartless assassin.
- Thanks to being befriended by a heroically aligned Cinder, Emerald joins the heroes of Kuroyuri.
- Adaptational Job Change: Carla Yeager was just a barmaid and later housewife in her first life. In her second life on Remnant, she's managing a successful farm.
