* FixFic: The author "fixes" many of the plot points that make ''World Tour'' a ContestedSequel.
** Ezekiel is not eliminated first again and makes it decently far this time. As a result, he never goes feral and even gets a girlfriend out of the deal in Izzy. His roles in the London and Africa challenges are given to Duncan and Ted the Tiger respectively.
** In canon, Tyler getting eliminated halfway through the season to make room for Duncan's return angered many fans tired of Duncan's overexposure. Here, Duncan is eliminated shortly after his return and Tyler makes it all the way to the merge instead.
** Team Victory is treated much, much, ''much'' better than in canon, including not solely existing to be victims of Alejandro's villainy, not being derailed and damaged as characters by it (particularly Bridgette and DJ, as the former here is newly single when she falls for Alejandro and the latter has no animal curse plot to severely weaken him as a competitor), winning elimination rounds several times, and having two of its canonical members reach the merge.
** Alejandro's InvincibleVillain qualities are toned down too. While he is still a very competent and formidable player skilled in charm and manipulation, he is involved in far less eliminations than in canon, has some difficulty manipulating the other contestants (who occasionally all grow suspicious of him; even the smitten Bridgette), does not have his plans work out perfectly every time, and is given some stronger flaws and weaknesses that almost get him eliminated a few times, such as a volatile temper and excessive arrogance.
** The controversial Duncan-Gwen-Courtney LoveTriangle, while still present in the form of Courtney's anguish and fury over the whole fiasco, does not take up as much of the season, due to Duncan getting eliminated once his affair with Gwen is ousted and Gwen quitting immediately afterwards to join him. Additionally, Courtney is not weakened as a competitor (as in she doesn't start throwing challenges and become vulnerable to Alejandro's manipulation) by the love triangle, is not made into the DesignatedVillain for her disapproval of Duncan and Gwen's relationship, and ultimately receives redemption at the end of her story.
** The finale ends much more happily for everyone, with the winner getting to keep their prize money and the volcano not erupting, although there is still a sense of epicness due to the finale being broadcasted live in front of a massive audience this time around.

* AmIJustAToyToYou: Alejandro takes pleasure in making out with Bridgette and cuddling with her when she's wearing a bikini, but proudly states in his confessionals that Bridgette's sex appeal and sex drive are the only things he truly likes about her and that he believes she's just a promiscuous idiot he can toss away once he's done with her. Bridgette is totally horrified, furious, and heartbroken when she discovers this, and calls him out on it later on.

In this story, the spark in Bridgette and Geoff's relationship died out after their arguments on ''Total Drama Action''[='=]s Aftermath and the two break up between seasons. Then in''Total Drama World Tour'''s first challenge in Egypt, Cody chooses to go over the pyramid rather than through it like in canon. But a mishap caused by Bridgette's klutziness means that Cody ends up on Team Victory with her rather than on Team Amazon with Gwen as he hoped for. And with Alejandro scheming his way through the game, can Cody stop him before it's too late and will Bridgette realize Alejandro is not the real man of her dreams?
