The DOOM of Earth Bet provides examples of:
- Awesomeness by Analysis: Jessica's power which lets her understand demon speech, beat up an armed cultist unarmed, and build a device to detect hell energy. And a small railgun.
- The Berserker: Greg is this by default. Even more so after he accidentally absorbs a berserk sphere.
- Deuteragonist: Jessica seems to be shaping up to be this.
- Irony: Due to the demon attack happening the same day as Taylor was shoved into the locker by the Trio she is a lot safer than they are when the demons attack.
- Interrogation by Vandalism: Greg holds a Tome of Eldritch Lore over a rather dirty floor and starts to let his grip slip. As it's a sentient book it becomes a lot more helpful.
- Memetic Badass: In-universe; Greg gets this reputation on PHO.
- The Real Heroes: After getting dubbed "Hero of Winslow" Greg feels that more credit should go to the PRT officers and other people who died fighting the demons to save others.
- Tome of Eldritch Lore: The Codex Demonalis a sentient book of magic and hell lore.
